HALL Rutherford offers guests a truly world-class winery experience to...

HALL Rutherford offers guests a truly world-class winery experience to include a tasting of HALL’s most regaled wines along with an intimate tour through the property and caves. The winery’s 14,000 square feet of caves were designed and built by hand by Friedrich Gruber of Gutenstein Austria. The caves are finished with handmade Austrian brick recovered from sites in and around Vienna and showcases select works from the Halls’ art collection. Deep inside the caves resides a dazzling reception area for private tastings and entertaining. The room’s spectacular chandelier, designed by Donald Lipski and Jonquil LeMaster, is dressed in hundreds of Swarovski crystals.

This a first class winery run by first class people. We have toured and tasted at the Rutherford winery a few different times and have always been impressed. The staff is knowledgeable and we always learn something new about the winery, the vineyards, or the wines. A beautiful location overlooking the valley and the cellar is equally impressive.

Rob was our guide and he was amazing. We were met with Sauvignon Blanc and heard the history of the place. Then we went out and toured the vineyard and surrounding areas with more history. Then the real stunner - the cave. This is the most impressive wine cave we have seen in the area, including the amazing art covered... More

This place is hard to find, strictly by appointment only and offers one of the best private tasting experience! The property sits on top of the hill, surrounded by beautiful ground: the view is just spectacular! The tour guides here are always friendly, knowledgable and are good story tellers. The wine cave is one is the kind. You really have... More

I had no idea what laid beneath our feet! This was a first visit and had been highly recommended whom is a wine collector. The Walt Chardonay was unusual and the cab was full! A visual delight of art lies in the caves beneath. Truly Enjoyed

This wine experience is the best, so is the wine. Katherine and Craig Hall have a amazing place to tour by appointment only. You will not see this anywhere else in Napa Valley.

We have been to many winery's not just in Napa but also in France and Santorinini and this was by far our favorite. Everything we tasted was fabulous and the tour was exceptional. We joined the club and look forward to our 1st shipment!

This was our favorite visit of the whole trip. THis was my first time to Napa, however, others in our party have been before and have not been here. Everyone agrees, Hall Rutherford was the 'high' of the trip. The wines were incredible! The house and caves were beautiful. We purchased wines and also joined the club, because we want... More

If you are in the area, Hall Winery is a MUST VISIT. The tour is excellent, run by knowledgeable staff and just long enough. It is packed with interesting information. The winery itself is beautiful with unusual sculptures collected by the owners. You'll learn about the owners and sculptures, too. The real treat is the Chandelier Room for a wine... More

WOW let me say first of all that it was incredible to connect with an old friend Rob, after 25 years, he is one of the leading wine educators here at Hall Rutherford, and he did not disappoint His knowledge of the Hall Wines and the incredible art work throughout the winery was superb. The many wines they served were... More
