Stopped here on a recommendation from our hired driver and we are so glad we did. Almost every wine we tried was delicious and the lady pouring for us was very friendly and helpful. On our next trip back to wine country, this will definitely be our first stop.

We visited last year and really enjoyed it. Came back this year and became members. Excellent membership benefits with free tour of their excellent caves, seemingly never ending trying of several of their wines, berry blues and ports. Also reciprocity at a few sister properties AND friends/family can use your benefits too, even when not there! Marty and Lindsay Younglove... More

My husband and I did the wine caves tour and tasting at Rutherford Hill and it was a lot of fun. It was $30 per person to be taken on a tour of their wine caves. While you are inside the caves you try several different wines. Once you get back to the main tasting area, you are given chocolate... More

As a club member we met friends for a picnic on the grounds and then shared in a tour of the winery, cave and, of course, in tasting the wines. The history behind the Terlato's purchase of the winery and development of the vineyard is worth hearing first hand. Be sure to visit while in Napa, you'll be loyal to... More

Our group had reserved a tour which was very interesting. We liked going into the caves and hearing about the different wines. We had reserved the picnic area which was set to perfection, including wine glasses and flowers on the tables. Our tour guide/ driver set up lunch on the tables and we had a gorgeous view as we ate.... More

In hindsight, after visiting many other wineries. This winery was terrific. The wines are delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not get a chance to take a tour which we will definitely do next time! We ended up purchasing a few bottles of wine. We joined the wine club which ended up saving us $70 when we... More

Must do the cave tour and tasting. Wonderful experience. Stop by Dean and Deluca to pick up some food prior to the tasting to enjoy overlooking the best view in Napa. If you can't get there, purchase some of the fabulous port and have it with the chocolate covered blueberries. AMAZING!

Like the 2002 Red wine but now it is discontinued. We still enjoy the 2003 Red wine from them. They also have a red wine called Angel and the other one called Devil which are also very good. I am their club member too.

Stopped into Rutherford Hill for a Saturday afternoon picnic. For $35.00 we were reserved a picnic table with a linen table cloth and plastic wine glasses. This fee also included a $20 credit to be used toward a bottle of wine. Awesome location for a picnic! Bring your own food.

Off the beaten Silverado trail and up the hill, yet worth the drive. I enjoyed the wine at Rutherford Hill; however, for me the real highlights were the other amenities (e.g. helpful staff, exciting tasting room, wine caves, and scenic view). If you are looking for a fun vineyard to taste and explore, this one should definitely make the list... More
