Good wine, good experience. BEAUTIFUL views!!!

I would recommend this stop purely for the views! The tour looked interesting, but we weren't able to make it in time so I can't comment on that, but I will probably come back... read more

We have enjoyed Rutherford Hill wines for years and have visited the winery on three occasions. We were excited to bring our friends to experience the winery and enjoy a picnic with a view. We were however very disappointed to discover their new policy of buying THREE bottles of wine to picnic. You cannot even get a free tasting if... More

This is one of the most beautiful wineries in wine country. The views are spectacular and the people working here are incredibly friendly, personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying their chocolate/wine flight -outstanding and such a great idea. I also love that this is an organic winery - a rare find!

Reserved a spot for the "Cave Tour". Mentioned to the receptionist on the phone that I wanted to come up a bit early to enjoy their picnic facilities. Was told that I could not, as I would have to purchase 3 bottles of wine and make a separate reservation for a picnic table. Ended up eating picnic lunch on the... More

They have changed their policies about using their picnic area. Minimum 3 bottle purchase to use it. Fortunately I read about this before I went so just did the tasting. Didn't find anything unusually good about their wines. The hard sell to join the wine club got old pretty quick. Stil one of the best views in the area though.

I would recommend this stop purely for the views! The tour looked interesting, but we weren't able to make it in time so I can't comment on that, but I will probably come back sometime and try it. The tasting was good. I liked most of the wines, they weren't great, but solid. I am not a big fan of... More

Rutherford staff provided a great experience that started with a light wine tasting and cheeses to enhance the experience. We toured the new caves and the temperature was amazing. The tastings were perfect for the atmosphere and generous. Really a great time to go.

After 2 trips to Napa, this place easily hits last place. We felt rushed. Our "cave tour" amounted to walking about 60 feet into a cave and sitting down in a tasting room. The wines were nothing special either. It's a shame because there are so many good ones around. In fact, go hit Rutherford Ranch right next to this... More

Overall great experience! Beautiful vineyard. Staff knew their wines and great pairings. Walked away with a nice bottle. I do recommend this vineyard.

I am from the East Coast and wasn't quite sure I knew what to expect but I loved everything about this wine tour! Danny from the start was very welcoming and knew his wine! We sampled quite a few wines and I fell in love with a Port wine and a Pinot Grigio that was just to die for! As... More
