We stopped in at BV for our first tasting and found it to be a pleasant experience. We arrived rather early (around 11:00 am) so there weren't any crowds to deal with. Both my wife and I enjoyed the Maestro red wine tastings. Neither of us would say they were particularly spectacular wines but they were definitely nice enough to... More

My wife enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir and I enjoyed a glass of the reserve Zinfandel will listening to Jazz on the patio at the Reserve Tasting Room. A wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon.

My friend and I had no complaints about the winery, staff, or tasting room -- everything appears in good order! However, the wines themselves seemed very bland and uninteresting compared to other wineries in the area (of which there are 450!). If we could do our day again we would skip this winery and use the time saved to drive... More

Tasting room was beautiful. The serving bar could have been bigger to accommodate the large clientele. Wine server was friendly. Go to website for "2 for 1" tasting deal.

I recently traveled to Napa with a group of friends for a wedding and we were looking at doing a couple of tours/tastings one afternoon. A friend booked BV Winery because it was easy to get in our larger group (10 people) with little to no hassle. We were simply not impressed - maybe because we are accustomed to smaller... More

There were lots of institution type wineries that I wanted to love in Napa, but they were just shrinking violets compared to BV. This was more commercial compared to the boutique/ family owned ones I usually prefer. We liked most everything we tasted, and of course, when we bought more, they started breaking out the good stuff. Our group of... More

I have drunk more than my fair share of BV. However, I have not had any since I moved out of CA simply because I had forgotten about it as its not easy to find in TX. I was excited to revisit the winery and taste some of their new vintages. My girlfriend and I were disappointed in the wines... More

We stopped at BV since it is located right across the street from another tasting room we had visited... We enjoy BV wines at home and thought we might as well stop in. Overall, the tasting room was fine, but there are definitely more unique and fun wineries to see while in Napa. Being from Milwaukee, visiting BV sort of... More

Their Rutherford Cabernet is one of the better ones at under $30 per bottle. Do not take the wine tour, it's very boring and nothing to see.

I have enjoyed Beaulieu wine for years, as I passed the winery, I noticed that they were having a case sale. We stopped and came away with 3 cases of great wines , an exceptional value.
