!The Beauzeaux was such a discovery The BV tasting came out of the blue for us. Velvet rules the wines! The '11 Merlot,Pinot and THE BEAUZEAUX (pronounced BOZO!) definitely left lasting impressions! The staff were casual, warm and great to converse with!

Our visit to BV Vineyard was very enjoyable. We did the wine tasting and the man helping us was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He went over and above to ensure that we had a wonderful experience, even poured extra wines that were not on the tasting menu. The wines were good overall and the prices are very reasonable.

We had been before but had not done the "George La Tour" tasting. Always a great visit but this was most certainly the best yet. Will most definitely be back

we went to the premium room, it has great a selection of wines and fair prices. The man that helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. We have been on tour in the past and it was well done. A year ago we went to the main tasting room and that was a good experience. I feel that BV is... More

These were some of my favourite wines in the valley. Rich, creamy reds and clean whites. Also the port and chocolate was a nice twist. We were with an American couple who were absolutely harassed about taking club membership though which made me want to leave, quickly. Picked up the Cab #2 which we thouroughly enjoyed later safely away from... More

We stopped here and had. A great experience. The wines were, overall, well seasoned and complex. Our server Victor was attentive and informative. I really enjoyed the cab #2 (even more than#1). I'd recommend it as a solid tasting experience in napa.

This was our first and best stop while taking my cousins from Holland wine tasting. We were greeted at the door with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc that was very light and tasty. We did the white wine tasting and all of the wines were very good. They also let us try any other ones we were interested in. We... More

We came 15 years ago in the Napa Valley, and Beaulieu was one of the wineries visited. In that time, it was personalized, more intimate etc... now, it's just a big machine , some of the wineries lost their ''intimate'' touch to the ''a la carte '' tastings. 15 years ago, you either drink their last release for several dollars... BV's wine tasting facilities in Rutherford were a letdown relative to other wineries we visited, viz. Kendall Jackson, Rodney Strong, Sterling and Robert Mondavi. The latter had well kept buildings and landscaping. In contrast, BV was a series of old buildings and a parking lot. They do have a red wine tasting ($20) and a white wine tasting ($15) that... More

We like BV's wines, generally speaking, and we loved going back to their winery. I don't think of BV as being a "giant" winemaker, but they do have some great, inexpensive wines. Beautiful setting, tasting rooms, and their "Reserve" is too stuffy!!! Great...
