Fabulous, magical, exciting, stunning, incredible, amazing! Need I say more? The wedding I dreamed of for my daughter. Our guests could not stop talking about this wedding. I don't think the wedding planner missed a beat with what was planned out for this event. I had guests say they have never been to a more beautiful wedding. My daughter and... More

do the reserve - the redwood storage casks are amazing. BV may be owned by a big corporation but still runs like a family owned winery for their estate labeled wines.

It had been about ten years since we had been here and the experience didn't leave a great taste in our mouths, pardon the expression! We remembered a cold, snooty reception. But we remembered a favourite wine from then and decided to give it another try this past weekend. Before we hardly walked in the door a lady named Maggie... More

My wife and I had a reservation for a winery tour which carries a penalty if you cancel within 24 hrs of the tour. When we arrived, they welcomed us with a tasting of wine, but after a 30 minute wait, they cancelled the tour and used the Napa earthquake as the excuse. Why they waited 30 minutes to cancel... More

Booked a tour for the next day, arrived at winery 30 minutes prior to the tour. We were greeted by a hostess who confirmed our booking. After waiting 30 minutes and a few minutes before our tour the hostess now informed us that the tour was cancelled without explanation. Went to cashier to check on refund, cashier was telling another... More

We enjoyed our tasting with Maris. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Since we arrived early we had the main tasting room to ourselves and were able to sip their wines at a leisurely pace. We especially liked the cab/syrah blend. Next time we'll try the reserve tasting.

If you find this helpful please click helpful below. ___________________________________________ I was looking for good Cabernet in Cab country and stumbled upon this winery. Like others had mentioned - they seemed very clinical in their selling process and the tasting was $25 which included a port wine which is not typical as most don't want to sample ports. Anyhow I... We stopped in at BV for our first tasting and found it to be a pleasant experience. We arrived rather early (around 11:00 am) so there weren't any crowds to deal with. Both my wife and I enjoyed the Maestro red wine tastings. Neither of us would say they were particularly spectacular wines but they were definitely nice enough to... More

My wife enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir and I enjoyed a glass of the reserve Zinfandel will listening to Jazz on the patio at the Reserve Tasting Room. A wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon.

My friend and I had no complaints about the winery, staff, or tasting room -- everything appears in good order! However, the wines themselves seemed very bland and uninteresting compared to other wineries in the area (of which there are 450!). If we could do our day again we would skip this winery and use the time saved to drive... More
