Not very impressive. The tasting helpers were not very friendly. The wine was not particularly good. Too many other better wineries in Napa. I would recommend skipping this one.

We were in between wine tastings and since we had some free time decided to stop by BV. We made the right decision! This winery has some fantastic wines and we really enjoying our tasting. We ended up joining the wine club and are very excited to start receiving shipiments.

The winery has a long and interesting history, serving wines at famous dignitary functions. Their upscale vintages are very nice but their "daily" wines (commonly called BV Coastal) that you typically find in a liquor store are not very good. The winery itself is less charming than many others in the area and the "tour" was not all that exciting.... More

Peter, in the reserve tasting room does a great job. (as does all the rest of the staff too, I might add). To anyone unfamiliar with these wines, what are you waiting for? I joined the wine club immediately! Great deals to be had on a fantastic product(primarily reds). And the staff will also go out of their way with... More

BV produces great value for their large volume wines. We visited the winery for the first time and tasted in their reserve room. Fabulous red wines - cabs and meritage. We also had a great time in their regular tasting room/gift shop. We'll be back next time we're up in Napa Valley!

We came here as the first stop on a full day winery tour. Our tour guide was nice and informative, but the entire experience felt impersonal. The tasting prices are outrageous. The facility has a lot of history and the wine is very good, but I personally enjoyed touring some of the smaller family owned vineyards in the area. We... More

We took the tour and tasting package because I had visited 30 years earlier. Our guide was friendly, although other staff in the gallery were not. The tour did include barrel tasting, which was a new experience. The guide offered good accounts of the history of the Napa Valley and this winery in particular. On the other hand, the wines... Easy access off Hwy 29. However, Maestro was delicious. Was told at Rutherford Grill later that we should return for the Georges de Latour tasting. Maybe next time.

Fabulous, magical, exciting, stunning, incredible, amazing! Need I say more? The wedding I dreamed of for my daughter. Our guests could not stop talking about this wedding. I don't think the wedding planner missed a beat with what was planned out for this event. I had guests say they have never been to a more beautiful wedding. My daughter and... More

do the reserve - the redwood storage casks are amazing. BV may be owned by a big corporation but still runs like a family owned winery for their estate labeled wines.
