I was told by several folks that it was not that great. I trust the wine (awesome Chardonnay) and my wife loves Chardonnay. The pairing was outstanding, the host was funny, charming, knowledgeable and it felt like a group of friends having a good time. It was one of the highlights of the trip and the wine at Cake Bread... Cakebread is one of many great wineries in Napa Valley, but they have a nice tasting. Six offerings (three white and three red) for $15 and they took us outside among the grapes. The creamy Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were out of this world. Bought a bottle to bring home. Will definitely be back!

Was thankful we found 2 for 1 tasting coupon online - this tour wasn't much. Wine normally I love was ok Becuase it was warm. Employees were not friendly. I waited 20 minutes at counter to check out while three employees were chatting with each other. Wouldn't recommend - so many other good ones.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that your experience was an unpleasant one. While we offer only one tour per day at 10:30am, our other tastings are done in small groups and are not tours, simply tastings. I believe you were on a tasting, not the tour. Nonetheless, having to wait for an extended period of time is unacceptable and... More

Our Cakebread tasting was very memorable because we shared it with a couple from Louisiana, and he was a Chopped Grand Champion. I can't promise you will meet a famous chef when you go, but you will have a great experience. Alejandro was our host and he was so fun and so patient with us. The wines were terrific and... More

my mom and i had a wonderful food and wine pairing and tour by a cheery host. the food is made on site at their very own kitchen, and it was very interesting to learn the history of the estate. the portobello mushroom fries and the steak lettuce wrap were great. oh yeah, and the wine is delicious!

We did a tour and found it to be the most informative that we've taken. We became members of the wine club without a second thought. The wines were flawless.

We went here on our trip to Napa because it is our favorite wine. It did not disappoint! The tour is great, and you start with a glass upon check in. We relaxed outside on the benches with views of the vineyards until it was time to start. The staff is very knowledgeable, and I enjoyed that it wasn't just... More

Cakebread needs to get over itself with their snotty employees in this generic tourist trap. Don't waste your money here when there are so many nicer places to visit

We enjoyed the small tour and appreciated the wine very much. It was nice that it didn't last several hours like some and allowed us to fit in another winery. This was recommended from a friend and we were not disappointed in the wine. We plan to include this wine on our wine list when our restaurant opens later this... More
