This winery was recommended to us, but we did not know it was appointments only. As it may be, they were not busy and invited us in for tour and tasting. Staff was extremely knowledgeable about the vineyard history and the wines they produced. The SB Late Harvest white was excellent, which we purchased. Highly recommend.

Honig is a hidden gem and we're glad we found it. They only take reservations and personalize each experience. You get your own table outside, with your name on it. Our server was Casey, and he was very down-to-earth. Great sense of humor and never rushed the event. The atmosphere is quaint, with steel tables and chairs outside for guests,... More

We booked a tour and tasting. Love the overall vibe of this winery. Great patio and views. The staff was very knowable and friendly. The wines were our favorite. If we had more time or every make it back to the Valley we are hitting this back up again!

Our host Oscar conducted a remarkable private tasting of some truly remarkable wines with cheeses and chocolates that really set off the different cabs. His vast knowledge of the wines/vineyards and his engaging personality are a great asset to the operation. Micheal Honig (the owner) himself, stopped in to say hello and welcome us to the winery. The grounds are... More

Visiting Honig is a must when in Napa! When we arrived, they had my name on a sign which made me feel welcomed, special and added a personal touch. If you have any interest in seeing how their sustainable farming environment operates, I highly recommend going on the Eco Tour which is followed by a wine tasting on the patio.... More

My daughter and I recently visited Honig Winery on our trip to Napa. Our tasting was led by a man named Tom Luther. He was a delight to talk with. . . .very knowledgable about wine and the area. It was obvious he had a true passion for the subject matter. The winery was quiet with lovely wines. . .... More

We were expecting to go here at all, but Brandi from Frog's Leap referred us. Our host was Casey - "Mr. Irresistible" - and he was a lot of fun. They concentrate on two wines here - Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon - and both were delicious. They also do a late harvest Sauv Blanc. The tasting rooms were pretty... More

When you're travelling to Napa & Sonoma everyone seems to have an opinion on which vineyards to visit. My wife ended up picking Honig based on some other reviews she had read, and even though we had never heard of it before. What a fantastic choice! The staff were so very nice during our visit and the wines we tasted... More
