Traveling with a large group can be difficult. But not here, our server Tracey was the right person for us. Oh, lol, and the wine is great!

We had a great time at Elizabeth Spencer Winery. We originally went to a tasting at Beaulieu Vineyard and wandered over to Elizabeth Spencer. Peter, our wine server from Denver, was A-MAZING!!! The staff were all personable and very inviting. We spent over an hour chatting and tasting. The tasting room was small but there was an outdoor patio, very... More

While the tasting experience was good when we were there back in 2007, having the wine some 4 years later was even better. Some of the best wines I've ever had (2004 Cab Sauv and 2005 Petit Verdot) and we went back in Sept 2013 for more...that experience was even better. Ask to have your tasting on the patio!!

We visited early on a Thursday morning. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. We did their basic flight, and were able to enjoy them on the patio. Hostess came out to serve each new flight while we enjoyed the patio and the amazing weather. There are a few great wines here (we bought two different varieties), but the others... More

We had time to kill between reserved tastings so we stopped in at the Elizabeth Spencer tasting room. It is a small boutique place with a great outdoor patio tasting area, relaxed with patio umbrellas, tables, loveseats, etc. You first walk in to the building & are offered a taste of their Sauvignon Blanc to start. Then you can find... More

Elizabeth Spencer was recommended to us as a 'boutique' winery, and that pretty accurately sums up our experience. This was the first tasting room we visited and we enjoyed the wines; particularly the rose. As luck would have it, in talking with one of the employees, we learned that ES was hosting their Rose Release Party a few days later... More

This little boutique tasting room in the old post office is a perfect stop in Rutherford. Their wines are outstanding and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

What a nice little winery! Well situated, friendly and always willing to take in a walk-in client when I have a hole in my schedule. They'll even serve wine by the glass for those not wishing to go through a whole tasting flight. Located in the original post office building in Rutherford, built in 1872, so not too spacious. But... This winery came highly reccomended by a few of our friends, a "not to miss". I didn't get it. Nice garden area. Service was ho-hum. I thought the wines offered for the flight were underwhelming.
