Great, Old, Restored Theatre

The Fox was completely restored a few years ago and they did a fabulous job. But, the seats are very narrow and somewhat uncomfortable.

The Fox Theater has had an interesting history. As a movie theater, it was chosen for the premiere of "Gone With the Wind." It fell on hard times for several year but has been restored to its former beauty. All the seats give a good view of the stage and the management is booking good acts. For people in Riverside... Recently saw Bill Maher. Has a little trouble understanding some of what he said. Not sure if it was the acoustics or because of the cackling hen who sat next to me. However still, it's a lovely venue for theather, stage and movie and, see that the Fox theater has all three. My friend who accompanied me is a wheelchair... More

Enjoyed a tour of the facilities. Memories of long ago. Grateful that this building has been preserved as a live venue.

This is a new venue in Riverside. This is a great place to see a show. There really are no bad seats. They also have a great bar you can go to before the show starts. We parked across the street but I believe there is a parking structure.

I attended a performance by Celtic Thunder at the Fox Performing Arts Center and was so amazed by the architecture! From the moment you step foot on the grounds, not even entering, it's gorgeous. The details of the building were so amazing. As we entered everything was spacious as well as clean. Every seat was incredible, luckily we were in... More

We saw Chris Botti here and had seats in the balcony. The music was very loud even that far away from the stage, but we still had a clear view of everyone on the stage. There is plenty of parking either on the street or in the parking garage. In order to get to the ladies room, we had to... More

It's a GREAT intimate, VERY comfortable atmosphere! We have seen different favorite entertainers close up and personal because of the Luxury of the Fox Theatre. It sure beats driving into LA for a Cattle Call and seeing your favorite performer with binoculars. My husband and I who rarely go to a concert (because of the inconvenience of driving to LA)... This was our first visit to the theater. It is a nice venue. Not too big. The seats were comfy and cup holders were provided. The drinks were rather pricey-$18 for a beer and a coke. But the parking was only $5. I guess it balanced out. There was only one exit from the parking lot so it took a... More

We have attended many performance at the Fox and have enjoyed the experience. It's not a huge theater and yet not overly small, but give one that hometown feel about it. It has easy of parking and the surrounding area has a lot to offer by means of dining. Short walk from the renowned Mission Inn.
