The nostalgia is there! Rooms are clean and much larger than you'd expect. Friendly staff - excellent Route 66 gift store (lots to choose from) - very nice outdoor pool, excellent courtyard setting with green grass. Feels like old-days Route 66 in the modern era (even offered Wi-Fi). Definitely one of the major highlights of the entire Route 66 Trip.... more

This is truly a RT 66 Icon. It was like steping back in time. I saw the propertery 2 years ago and it had not changed. It still looks freshly painted & the lawn well manicured. The pool looked so inviting but just did not have time to enjoy. The room was very clean and so much bigger then I... more

We stayed here as our next to last stop on Rte. 66 from Chicago to LA in June. I was a little hesitant when we first arrived as it was 3:00 in the afternoon and I had to "ring the bell" for service. Once we got checked in, we were given the remote for the television and asked to return... more

Stayed overnight in the Wigwam Motel on Nov 2nd. Dirven down from San Simeon that day and arrived about 8.00pm. We picked up 2x rooms for $77+tax each and were pleased to find them clean & comfy, with 2x double beds in each. A couple of minutes later the heavens opened with a huge deluge, enough to cause a satellite... more

Stayed here for one night for a family wedding, there are a lot of chain hotels around and we wanted to do something different. The price is good and it was neat to sleep in a tee pee, and a piece of history right on route 66. The inn keepers are very helpful, the rooms are quiet, though a little... more

We stayed one night at the Wigwam motel at the end of May and had a fab time! My husband and I decided to take our 9 year old sun to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. We had stayed in LA for a few days and decided to break the drive from LA to Vegas with a stop at some... more

Hotel desk clerk friendly, Wigwams clean and fun...however, the area is dark with barred rundown buildings all around. In the morning, I stepped out for a walk only to make a dash back to the wigwam because a bum started walking quickly right towards me. My family and I did not feel safe in this area. I wish I would... more

In August 2007 ourselves and 4 of our closest friends went on a road trip on motorcycles that started in Las Vegas and found us in places such as San Bruno, San Fransisco, Arizona, Nevada and ended back in Las Vegas. On our travels we had booked a one night stay at the Wigwam Motel on Route 66 in Rialto... more
