How fun to visit a vintage green decor saloon in an alley on St Patrick's day with authentic food and great, friendly service.

It may be a bit hard to find, tucked behind the parking structure off of California Street but if you want a small, intimate bar with some decent specials - this is it. They had music by a guitarist on the night we went - very nice. I was craving their big hamburger and was not disappointed. They have a... More

Who would think tucked behind the parking lot is this great little restaurant/ pub waiting for you to find it. Had the Post office burger, salad and tea today, 10 bucks, HUGE... the place is full of history, has a real nice menu, but the specials are killer, Spaghetti dinner for $6 bucks, and its really good, El-dente cooked pasta,... Had a great lunch here, steak sandwich, cooked just right, good drinks, and super wait staff, has a great "back in the day" atmosphere.

The Post Office Saloon is located in the old Downtown Redding Mall, just a few feet up the alley north of Placer Street. There is plenty of convenient parking. It's a good place for a drink, for snacks, for live music in the evenings or as a place to meet and mingle.

Nice place with a cozy atmosphere and live music. It's great to just sit back and have a good time. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. It's the best bar in town.
