We brought my two year old son and he didn't really have a great time. He wasn't that into playing in the kiddie pool area and was too small to go on the waterslides-even if we went with him and they didn't allow lap rides. Oh, and the food is WAY overpriced and greasy. The t-shirts were only $7, so... More

We had a fabulous time our whole family went and we did every ride many times. It is best to go early and you have the whole park to your self...we loved all the rides! But we really liked the Flush it was scarey for gramms. The Dragon was scarey for Patricia! The good was great. GRAMMY LOVED THE LAZY... More

It's awesome to hear how much Grammy loved that lazy river, Patsy! We're pumped to know everyone in the family found a favorite ride at our place -- that's the kind of feedback that keeps us loving what we do. We can't wait to welcome you all back again next summer -- we'll get those season passes at the ready!... More

We live between Redding and Sacramento. This is the best water park for us. We have teens and a six year old. The bigger water parks are scary. Kids get lost or there are just too many people. This is perfect for our needs and I can easily keep an eye on all the kids.

We had a birthday party and paid for an extra tickets since they $15 each instead of the regular $20 since we paid for a party package. They said any extra ticket would be refunded. At the end of the day we returned our tubes and got those deposits back but then went to the front desk to return the... More

We can't apologize enough for this frustrating experience -- Rest assured, though, that this sounds like a serious miscommunication with our staff regarding our procedures, and by no means was it an attempt to gain extra money from your group. We value our customers far too much for that. We'd really love to continue this conversation with you offline --... More

Visited Wednesday July, 23, 2014 All-day! Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our second visit (last visit August 2013) and was even more fun because our daughter could finally ride all water slides. Favorites to her were ALL!! The park is kept very clean and organized with staff around every turn to give advice if needed. The food... More

Traveling with our 9 & 12 year old grandsons, we chose Waterworks to visit on a day that hit 105. The park is not new, but clean and well organized and not too big. Reasonable prices for us since anyone over 63 only pays $5. Apparently season passes are a good deal. Go early on a hot day...the concrete gets... More

We're delighted to know how much your grandsons enjoyed our park on such a hot summer's day -- there's not much better than splashing around in the water when it gets past 100 degrees! It's our pleasure to offer a discount for our lovely guests over 63, too. Here's hoping we'll see you all back on the slides again before... More

Wow, Julie, thanks so much for your fantastic recommendation! You're so right to point other reviewers in the direction of our cabanas -- they're a lot of fun and a great home base when you come in a group. We arrived for the reduced "twilight" admission for the last 3 hours opening (3pm-6pm) and it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the park. The look on my husband face going down the Avalanche was priceless!

It really made us laugh to read about your husband's expression on that Avalanche -- that's definitely one of our more exciting rides! Thanks a million for spreading the word about us, and we hope to get the chance to welcome you back before the summer's up. All the best, The WaterWorks Park Family More

I was there with my wife and 2 young boys, ages 8 and 6. Both are at least 48" tall (at this park that is critical or they can only ride with an adult on tube rides, unless the young one is okay with doing the kiddo slides and hanging out with kids in diapers. The under 48" slides are... More

Was greatest by very rude lady in the ticket booth telling me I had to pay the 19.95 fee if I wanted to be on the premises! Not even allowed to just watch her reasoning was they wouldn't be able to tell who had paid! Why not put bracelets on people that pay problem solved!

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed about this, Barb -- it's a longstanding policy that it is an entrance fee, not a ride fee. That said, this should have been explained to you in the friendliest possible way, and we're truly sorry if this wasn't the case. We hope you'll consider coming back again soon -- with all... More
