My husband and I just came back from a quick 24 hour trip to the desert. We stayed at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort. I originally booked our tee time here. Looking for good summer rates and conditions, look elsewhere. Just played Rancho Las Palmas and found the course in absolutely terrible condition and of course, their "summer rates" ended two days prior to our arrival so it was $49 instead of $29/all day.
