They take your money and don't tell you you actually won't start for an hour or more after your teetime because they don't have carts. And you're not allowed to walk. Awful. Terrible way to treat customers.

We played 5 rounds here in the past week, using the book of 10 tickets. Course is in great shape, both fairways and greens. With exception of yesterday when we teed off at 1:48pm pace of play was good. Due to the slow pace of play yesterday we failed to complete the whole 18 holes, which was a bit disappointing... More

We went with no idea where the course went and had difficulty following the course. A few busy body residents surrounding course. Got hit in the head with a golf ball while we were on the 6th hole, immediately went to the clubhouse, wanted 25 minutes for someone to come help and then another 2 hours to be picked up... More

Played tennis twice as a guest this week and was most impressed with the tennis club.... courts, staff, etc. Tennis desk is run by Regina and she is the exact type of person every tennis club should have quarterbacking the desk.... she greets players, arranges games and contributes to a very well run operation. I'm sure there are many good... More

The first four holes of this course are the worst I have ever golfed. They are in a drainage gully and very poorly maintained - not a great way to start a game. This is a very average course and is not particularly well maintained, the greens are rough, the fairways have lots of debris from the grass cutting. There... More

I visited Rancho Las Palmas a few weeks ago on the recommendation of a local bartender. The course was listed on GolfNow.com and was reasonably priced for an afternoon round with a cart ($29!!). It was tricky finding the course, but someone at the hotel helped me navigate to the course. Pro shop was nice and after a quick chat... More

So I thought I'd be playing a desert course, but this course is remarkable for the lack of tall grass. Several of the fare ways take advantage of the drainage ditches, one of which has a ball of mine. They use tight fare ways and trees to make you play straight and long or you need to buy another box... More

I did not know until we showed up that this was a cheap place with a bad course and poorly manicured greens and fairways. A place where a foursome of drinking buddies would be at home (If you like paying $6.00 a beer). Tee shirts could be optional at this course, and expect to play a slow round for a... More

I like playing and staying here, Had a amazing room with a view of the golf course and mountains in the background. The place is older but very clean fresh and the staff is amazing. I met the GM one day and so nice wanted to make sure we were happy..

We were booked in for a week @ the Resort but ended up staying for just a couple days. The positives - location is superb, resort is beautiful, staff were very nice especially the maintenance guys. Room although a little dated was very nicely furnished. The Blu Ember was great, loved the food and also the service. The not so... More
