Ok, enough about the cat ~ loved the tasting and people of this winery ~ wine too, bought some!!!! We arrived early and they... More

Worth a stop. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Seems like it would be excellent as a wedding venue, with several options for the ceremony, covered reception area, lots of parking and great wines.

Two brands. Terra d'Oro is far superior than their Montevina brand. I'd rate the latter a 3 and the former a 5. We bought two cases.

Wines are just OK and it's so commercial. If you're going wine tasting in Amador I would try one of the many small wineries in the area.
