A variety of activities are offered throughout the year. Summer they have evening performances outside. It is an historical area and it would be wise to see what is available before going.

I have went to several functions here and they were okay but not what i am used to. It is a very small area and the events are kind of restricted. It is a quick trip but still okay. There is no shade for the hot weather.

Hot. No AC No cooling fans. Dead trees Bleacher seating set up in sun with no shade Built in WPA times Food overpriced--everyone takes a cut of this "pie" Go to Nevada County Fair instead....lots of trees, reasonable prices and all buildings are Air Conditioned.

We have been to the fair, home show, and other events at the fairgrounds. It's always clean, the people are nice, and we always feel comfortable there. The fairgrounds has been closed recently for a very good reason. They allowed it to be a staging area for the firefighters during the King Fire. Thank you, thank you to everyone involved.

This fairgrounds made a perfect base camp. The stables were used to house evacuated horses from the Sand Fire. The buildings were great for mass feedings of fire fighting personnel. The parking and drive through made it easy to load equipment and supplies. Great job to the County for having a plan to use this place for an evac center... More

Great venue for concerts and of course our fair. We enjoy even going on weekends espcially as a fun place to walk with our dog. We think this is one of the quaintest and prettiest fair grounds in the state.

They dont take care of anything. Everything is over priced because the fairgrounds gouges vendors!
