Big apple operation with muesum

Limited variety of apples but good prices. Bake shop is great and there is a picnic area with shade trees.

we go to Larsen's every year for apples and pie. this year many of the apples had a brown rot in the apple that was not visible. When contacted they responded yes we have a problem sorry. I just think it would have been more customer friendly if they let people know about the problem. the apples were fine to... More

We tasted and purchased several bags of apples. The staff was accommodating in answering questions about the variety of apples they sell...the apples were EXCELLENT!

Larsen's Apple Barn has the best selection of apples in the Apple Hill area. Nice tasting area with helpful information. Excellent bakery with very tasty pies. Lots of parking. This is a our go to place for apples.

Liked the way this was set up...you could taste all the apples in the main barn and ask any questions...if you wanted to get bakery items, it had a separate building...and then for fun they has a history museum that was very interesting

We had been visiting several of the orchards and vineyards in the Apple Hill area and decided to make our final stop at Larsons to end the day with a fresh pastry. Unfortunately, the apple dumpling (which had a wonderful aroma when the sauce was poured over it) was extremely rubbery. Larsons appeared to us as a "larger" orchard in... More

What can one say but the best and I do mean best pies in town. Our first year in Placerville we went every Sunday am to eat a slice of pie. ok I did gain weight. We found that Mrs. Larsen's pie was the best... be sure to get the caramel sauce

For the second year in a row I found Larsen's to be the place to buy my apples on my annual trek to Apple Hill orchards. They also have terrific apple cider.

They have one of the biggest varieties of apples on Apple Hill. Our favourite type of apple is the Pink Lady, a pink in color and generally sweeter apple, and to date Larsen's is one of only two apple farms that grow them, and theirs are by far the best. There are a few other types that are more unusual... More
