We like to make a fall trip to High Hill Ranch - they have so many beautiful craft items, an area to watch apples being pressed, pony rides for the little ones, a beautiful picnic area with a stocked trout pond. They also have tons of pumpkins, pumpkin and Christmas crafts and food galore, including a restaurant, fast food booths... More

High Hill is the one stop shop of Apple Hill. They have some of the best pies (Carmel Apple Crunch is the best), a produce area, fresh apple doughnuts, pumpkins, crafts, roasted chicken, tractor rides, apple beer & wine, and even a pond to fish in. Additionally, though not affiliated with High Hill, there is a great confectioner's store (Fudge... More

This is one of the most popular ranches in Apple Hill. I know I have always gone for the caramel apples, which are buttery smooth, and the apple fritters, which are a meal in themselves. Great place to picnic, enjoy the stocked pond and visit the many, many crafters and artists.

Visited with my friends and their small children. Very scenic, beautiful, enjoyable, and the apple cider and apple donuts are things I still dream about. Highly recommend.

Their fresh-pressed apple juice is unbelievable - you must try it. During Apple Hill season, mix your apple pies with artisan booths, an active fish pond, doughnuts and coffee, and a beautiful view of El Dorado County. Try to come on weekdays - weekends can be very busy on Carson Rd.

A family friendly visitor spot. A fishing pond. Faire activities. Candies, crafts, apples, market are among the things here. One can find at minimum something for everyone. Place can get busy. Lots of unique crafts, decent food, great pastries, okay wine. People are cordial. I usually stop by the booths to see what is new. Always find something to take... More

This place was a madhouse on a Monday. Lots of craft booths selling junk, long lines for average pie, cider wasn't that great. Prices for apples and jarred jams, etc were high. I won't come back. There are smaller mom and pop places that aren't a zoo and have better food. We really enjoyed Rainbow for donuts and pie!

This is the best place to get everything you need!! They have a restaurant, gift stores, a place to fish for little kids, a fudge shop, eating area for hot drinks, homemade donuts and fritters, carmel apples, and a shop right there to buy all kinds of goodies. By far the best apple hill has to offer.
