It's a typical pier, nothing outstanding bit dirty and scruffy but serves a purpose for fisherman and you can hire rods if need to.

Had a great time fishing. Didn't catch nothing but was getting bites. The girl next to me was catching perch. Was on her 3rd catch of the day by 11. Tons of surfers and a daring young man who back flipped off the pier to meet his buddies surfing. Great places to eat nearby and easy beach access to play.

Nice beach for the family. Walk the beach for miles on end. Pier is nice and the downtown is super cute! Great place to take the family on a mini vacation. Sunsets are great too!

If you can come on a non-holiday week-end, the pier is a wonderful place to walk, swim, beach-comb. There are lots of fun beach shops and restaurants. Its definitely a touristy place and can be hard to find parking. Nice boardwalk aalong the beach!

We are locals and I go down to the pier a couple times a week. There's a 1/2 mile long boardwalk with shops and restaurants. It's fun to grab a cup of coffee and watch the surfers from the pier. Not too many fish are caught from the pier - perch and herring when they run. Great sunsets! The famous... More

The waves get HUGE and roar at night. It is so fun to sit and watch the waves smash the pier and the beach after sundown. And, during the day the guys at the little shop are really fun to talk to and their stuff is great for presents.

Pismo Beach is a wonderful town with lots of great shopping and the pier is a great walk out "into" the ocean for awesome views. A great place to see the sunset!

After the death of and burial of my cat i continued up the coast to Eureka, Ca but did stop for several days along his stretch of breathtaking seaside beach, extremely scenic and i spent an afternoon parked in my RV not far from the pier there and was sad because f my cat, he would have loved it, he... Nothing on it, but staring at the ocean is beautiful. Had a picnic and watched people go by. Wish it had something on it like a gift shop or aquarium.

Enjoyed the views of the beach, beach shops, restaurants, people we met, and the time with our friends and family.
