Love to take kids on the pier, very calming. Kids love the birds at the end and like to look in the cracks of the pier to see oceans!

Loved our visit to the Pismo Beach Pier. The sunset was beautiful and it was so much fun watching three young surfers catching the waves. However, the highlight of the experience was Rich Love, an older gentleman singing love songs from is motorized "buggy". He was delightful sharing the stories of his lovely wife "Lexi" who passed two years ago... More

Bring a jacket, it can be windy. But the views on a sunny day are worth it, you might even see a harbor seal.

The pier was nothing phenomenal and there was not any food or beverage shop at the end of it; boo! There were a lot of sketchy looking people hanging around and the overall feel of the area was dirty and run-down. The view, on the other hand, was amazing. Nature knows how to do sunsets!

So it's just a pier. The beach is very pretty and there is a nice view from the pier. However if pier's are your thing, head up the coast to Avila beach pier. I enjoyed it more.

Pismo pier is just a long pier. Great for walking and for views but nothing else on it. We enjoy walking on the pier.

Enjoyed walking out to the end of the pier. Grabbed a cinnamon roll and took a stroll down the pier. It's a pier though, nothing special lol. It is great place to walk around sunset or anytime. Very clean.

Relaxing and fun. Beautiful views. Tourist shops for t-shirts, souvenirs. Great coffee and the Hot Lix store.

I agree with other posters that this might be just another pier, but since I'm rarely around ocean piers I like walking out to the end and taking in the sights I would otherwise not be able to. I've walked this pier multiple times, but without question my favorite time of day to visit is at sunrise or sunset. Going... More
