Nothing spectacular, a nice pier, shopping nearby. I suppose the length of the peer offers tons of nice shade. Nothing special.

pretty view but a little windy . pelicans sitting on the railings, could fish out of the pier. make sure you have shoes or will end up with a lot of splinters

My wife, dog and I enjoyed a walk down the pier and through the three blocks of surf shops, candy stores, and restaurants above it. We bought some great soap with sea sand and a couple of Pismo Beach sweatshirts. Many families and visitors and many dogs were a part of our pier experience. The parking lot ticket machine made... End of the "main drag" in Pismo and certainly worth a look-see. Surfers in the waves, fisherfolk on the pier, and a great sunset photo setting make this clean, well-cared for pier worth a visit.

Nice pier with a large car park which is free after 6pm. There are a number of bars and restaurants close to the pier and you can hire bikes and fishing rods from the pier.

Great place to stroll or jog because of the spacious beach and overlooking high cliffs along the shore. The pier also great for people watching and souvenir shopping.

I thought there would be more to do here but unfortunately there are only a few small shops and some food places. The beach is nice, the area is very crowded on weekends. If you are expecting it to be like ocean city, santa cruz boardwalk, santa monica pier etc, it isn't like that at all.
