We quite enjoyed ourselves walking along this pier. A cute little gift shop and rod rental was right in the middle as well. They were awesome too because I had seen something the day before that I wanted, but didnt have money on me at the time so I went back the next day which was the day we were... More

the area is beautiful as with any other beach area. The small town feel is great. The day we went was not busy, (week day)

Recommended by a friend. What a Beautiful place, and that's coming from a San Diegan. Haven't been to another pier where I saw surfers and people fishing in the same place.

I hail from the state of Texas. We do not have as nice beaches as California does. It was a lovely visit.

It's a pier, it sticks out 1000 feet into the ocean, you can fish from it , and it is frequented by pelicans. A relaxing and non-commercial place to enjoy the view of the surf and the shoreline of Pismo Beach. A nice place for a stroll before or after lunch.

This is an enjoyable uncommercial pier for a lovely stroll. Watch out for opportunistic seagulls should you be carrying any food, best friends they will be! At high tide the waves can be dramatic to watch and King tide a treat at the far edge of the pier. Nice small town feel.

It is always great walking on a pier and hearing the surf roar. Fisherman patiently waiting for a catch, children eating ice cream cones and couple strolling....no one is looking at their cell phone...life is always good on the pier! Be warned..no dogs allowed on the pier. Snacks and jewelry are available at a stand situated at the end of... More

The Pismo Beach Pier (皮斯摩碼頭) is located about 37 km (23 mi) north of Santa Maria between Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo on the US-101. It is a 418 m (1,370 ft) long wooden pier, 16th longest ocean pier in California. We saw people fishing, surfing and watch seabird caught fishes. The day we went wasn't so crowded in... More

If you are in the area of Pismo Beach, you have to include a visit to the Pismo Pier. It is a wonderful place to walk, stroll, meander and people watch. There is usually the "resident" brown pelican posing and guarding his favorite spot. Seems he is always willing to strike a pose for the photographer! There are wonderful restaurants,... More
