We've stopped here a couple of times when we have been in the area and it is always nice. Parking is $1 an hour, and there are plenty of nice places to eat right next to the pier. We weren't ready for lunch our last trip so we headed into Harry's for a Bloody Mary and a quick game of... More

We came to this area and walked on the pier a couple times during our most recent visit to the area. It has some "side" walking areas/piers off the main one. Very nice to walk and watch surfers, fishing, etc. Shops and stores very close by.

Great place for beach photography! The pier is actually surprisingly long and you can hire rods and do some fishing off the end of it.

The Pier is a must see when in Pismo especially at sunset. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants at the beginning of the pier that are worth the visit. Pismo Beach was beautiful

Pismo Beach is great small American town and we stayed there because we travelled from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Although we were tired from driving all day, we went to watch the amazing sunset from the beach and had a lovely dinner. Very recommended!

This pier is a no-frills one, a straight walkway into the sea, with lots of fishermen trying to get a meal from it. Worth a walk to get a few good pictures of Pismo Beach and do a little bit of people, wave and surfers watching.

You can do lots of wildlife viewing right from the pier. Lots of sea lions, pelicans, other seabirds, porpoises and whales. You can also fish from the pier.
