I have been visiting Navarro Winery multiple times each year for at least 25 years. The winery has grown but still is a family run business. It shows - very friendly and honest. The best wines are truly great - the best dry Gewürztraminer in the the US, an excellent Pinot Gris, three Pinot Noirs that are very good and... More

IMO, the unfiltered Pinot Noir at Navarro is among the "best bang for the buck" reds in the Anderson Valley area. Navarro also produces a wide variety of wines including a decent reserve Chardonnay and one of the best Rosés in NorCal. In fact, Navarro often wipes out the competition in numerous categories of judging at the California State Fair... More

I love Anderson Valley and the Wineries there. Navarro is probably the Big Dog in the Valley meaning that they produce more wine than anyone else. I think this is why the quality has suffered a bit. Not that they produce poor wines, they don't. They produce good wines but not really great wines. They probably produce one of the... More

Unless you’re a full blown “wine bibber,” you’re not going to get that Anderson Valley Wine Card punched out in one day. Make that a week. Unless you’re a bibber, of course. There’s 56 wineries, most of whom have tastings, either by walk in, or by appointment. So, depending on your preference in grape, you’ll have to do your own... More

We really enjoyed the tasting room and setting at Navarro Vineyards. Friendly people, free tasting, good wine and excellent shaded picnic benches just steps away. A great stop on the way to or from Mendocino.

Stopped here along route 128 to sit and relax while tasting the wonderful wines created here. After tasting a few choices we purchased a bottle of their Gewürztraminer-delicious. Sat out under a large trellis covered by Wisteria and took in the beautiful golden hillsides, vineyards and flowers. Worth stopping here.

We took the tour and highly recommend it. It was informative, leisurely, and closed out with a tasting. Of course, you can just do the tasting, but why not get a chance to enjoy the scenery too. We especially liked their white wines, including dry Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewurztraminer dessert wine.

This was recommended by a winery owner in Healdsburg. Beautiful grounds and they sell all the food items that you would need for a picnic. We liked their Sauvignon Blanc and loved their Zinfandel. There was no tasting fee as we bought wine. Friendly staff also.

Good wines, no tasting fee, friendly, lovely setting and facility for picnic...typical wine tasting facility with apparent larger volume that most of the other wineries

When we visited the tastings were complementary, which was a pleasant surprise. The wines were very good and the lady that helped us knew her stuff to. The tasting rooms were spacious and had a lovely ambiance.
