This was one of three wineries we visited in the Anderson Valley. There is a $6 per person fee to taste six wines (of which five are sparkling.) I love sparkling wine, so I was in heaven! We bought two bottles, and they refunded half of the tasting fee. There were tables and a beautiful display of lavender outside. This... More

Love the outdoor setting and gardens of this estate as you sample their delicious sparkling wine. Beautiful tables and chairs encourage a leisurely visit and interesting people to chat with or there are seats under the trees for more privacy. Our well-behaved dog was most welcome outside and made it a fun experience for those missing their companions. Clean up... More

This was my second visit, original was 15 years ago. Love their L'Ermitage sparkling wine. Female bartender was very distracted so we were very glad when the guy assisted us. I'm not a big fan of sparkling wine, but the Rodederer L'Ermitage is fantastic. Lovely grounds. The fee is only if you sample... They waived the fee when i bought... More

Roederer Estate is a well distributed sparkling wine, made in California by a high-end French Champagne house. In addition to the popular Brut, their tete-du-cuvee "L'Ermitage" and their hard to find Brut Rose, you can also sample the Brut from magnum to compare with the regular bottle (there IS a difference), but also their slightly sweeter Extra Dry. It is... More

We stopped here based on a recommendation from a vineyard in Napa. We really enjoyed it. Very reasonably priced. Wendy in the tasting room was great and all the sparkling wines were delicious. We will definitely be ordering some for the holidays.

Highway 128 in Anderson Valley is certainly a competition to Napa or Sonoma Valleys. And if you like champagne, then Roederer is the place to stop. We were not disappointed by the champagne and the wine, but the service could have been better. Two ladies took care of our tasting, one was young, gave a lot of information about the... More

Lovely tasting facility in the heart of the Anderson Valley. There is a nice view across the valley, and the grounds are immaculate. The tasting room is spacious and comfortable, and the decor includes great collection of French wine making prints. And the sparkling wines are first class. A must visit if you're in the Mendocino area.

Wonderfull setting. Anderson Valley is a hidden gem and Roderer Estate is one of the finest of the gems. Be sure to sample the difference between a normal bottle and a magnum.
