what a great course to play. The front nine you play by the ocean and the back nine is inland. You will see alot of dear that seem very comfortable with you being . Do not expect to score well as the greens are set for the pros. We are looking forward to playing this course again.

Spyglass is an incredible course, but the people that say it's better than Pebble, just don't put as much stock in the History of the game. That and they are just wrong :) The first 7 holes at Spyglass were beautiful and challenging, and then you get to the inland holes, and it's like you're playing a different course. It's... More

If your going to play Pebble then you need to play Spyglass as it is a must play as well. The first 5 holes are spectacular, and the contrast with the beautiful white sand and really green grass with the ocean backdrop are amazing. The design routing is fantastic, and the golf course oozes character. Very thoughful design, and really... More

Another wonderful course at Pebble. The first five holes are along the water so the views are wonderful. If you have a bad first five, don't worry, it does get better after leaving the water. The sixth hole onward you need to hit straight and you will be fine. The deer are all over the course as it is a... More

Played Spyglass on a recent trip to the area. The first 5 or 6 holes are amazing, great views. Then it heads back inland and becomes a good quality parkland style course. Overall it was a great experience, staff were friendly.

A lovely addition to our trip to Pebble. A little slow paced to start with due to course configuration but it did speed up after 6th.

Agree with previous reviews, tighter and harder then Pebble. Tree lined fairways, nice to see the deer stand right next to you as you play from the woods (which I did frequently). Greens fantastic. Perfect compliment if playing the big 3. Clubhouse and merchandise left alot to be desired, only blip on the day.

Greens were even faster than Pebble, about 13 on the stimp - probably because they had a tourney comin in there the next day... but it was great. Caddie was great. Get a breakfast burrito in the shack across parking lot from clubhouse before you go out there, just don't leave your food in the cart because the seagulls are... More

This golf course is more difficult than Pebble, but does not have all the ocean views of Pebble. The views are just as gorgous just different. I played from the back tees and you better have your A game if playing these tees. I am a 4 and it made me play to an 8. The greens were pure and... More

When in rome...... Play pebble and spyglass of course. Played pebble the day before and on the debrief at the hotel afterwards you are warned by all of 'spyglass winds' They're right bizarrely. I found spyglass a much sterner test than pebble and more windy despite its woodland setup. despite the lack of coastline on many holes this is a... More
