Played the course 5 times and it has not changed. More difficult than Pebble Beach and has scenic views of the ocean. We payed with a caddie but the first time you may want one. Again we played on a package that brought down the cost.

A different experience. The first 6 holes are stunning coastal links before it turns into the forest and reminds me of a top Australian course. A challenge but nice flowing course. This one of for the true golfer. A great pairing with Pebble.

Absolutely stunning links course along the sea at 17-mile drive. This course layout is so pretty and no matter how many times I come, I'm still astounded. Also, a big plus is the pricing, this course is much cheaper than the main Pebble Beach course, which is also a must-try, but I would personally come back just to play Spanish... More

The first few holes near the ocean are particularly enjoyable. I enjoyed the mix of Par 3s and the layout of the course in general. Not as demanding as Pebble Beach but nonetheless worth playing.

First of all, it's a hard course. Single digit handicappers usually love it, 10+ struggle. Tons of hills, and mostly plays uphill. The ocean views are like Pebble's, but there are still plenty and they are awesome. Helpful to have a caddie for sure.

Fun and challenging golf course. Very scenic and in beautiful shape. Caddie service is available and if you have never played in the area it would be recommended. Everyone treated you like you were the most important person there. We had a great time.

Walked this with my husband ... Great exercise as its hilly. You can see the ocean on 2-6 and there are plenty of holes where you have to steer clear of deer. Such a cool place!

Really tough great golf test with conditioning similar to Pebble. A few holes are better seaside holes than Pebble then the course plunges into forest where it gets really tough. Unless you are a long hitter play ore up tees as it plays long and the round can be dreary never having the chance to reach greens in regulation.

Second year at Spyglass for us. Course overall in good shape, although some fairways under renovation and extensive reseeding in evidence. Play was not impeded, just another hazard. Caddy was past his best before date. Crushed him later at the pro shop. Not impressive.
