I just came back from a beach trail ride with the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center. It was awesome! The ride is about 1 hr 15 and goes through Del Monte Forest, the sand dunes and around Spyglass golf course towards the beach. You don't ride actually on the beach but a little while on a nice trail at the rim... more

We went on the beach ride, and what an experience. The views are unbelievable, perfect photo opportunities! And the horses are so sweet. My 12 year old son was scared at first, but since he met Raddish (as in Horseraddish), he has decided to start taking riding lessons. These horses are beautiful and incredibly well treated. While we were visiting the Big Sur area, we rode horses at Pebble Beach and Andrew Molera State Park. I would highly recommend the Pebble Beach trail ride. The Molera ride was long (45 minutes+ just tacking up riders) the trail was long, boring, dusty and one of the guides was unpleasant to the other guide and the horses. The... more

I booked the Beach Ride at the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center. It is not worth $54. Looking at the website, it appears that you ride on the beach. You only ride on the rim of the beach. Maybe it was the guide, she had absolutely No personality. She appeared to be annoyed that she had to lead these tourists. She... more
