My new thing is to find a trail ride to do whenever I'm on vacation. It's a great way to see a new area, and usually a less spoiled one at that. The Pebble Beach area is gorgeous--whether you golf, drive or horseback ride--so I thoroughly enjoyed the woods and beaches through which we rode. The Center's staff was friendly... More

My husband and I arranged a private ride during our drive down the California coast. It was my husband's first time on a horse and I had not ridden for 25 years. The staff were amazing and paired us up with Hope and Nigel who were perfect for our level of experience. The center does amazing work with abused horses... More

My husband and I did a beach trail ride. Aside from being somewhat pricey ($90/person), the ride was very nice. We went through the Del Monte forest, across the sand dunes, rode next to the beach, back up through the golf course, and through the forest again on our way back to the stables. The horses were extremely mellow and... More

My partner and I came to Pebble Beach to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. We did a private horseback ride at the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center. Taylor was our guide and she was very sweet, not intrusively sociable (she didn't force conversation and sometimes we were just silent, taking it all in), but definitely friendly. She had a great way... More

The Equestrian is open, well and operating again. There was a change in management on July 1, 2013 and that was the reason for the rides being suspended for a short time. The stables is NOT CLOSED. After some negotiations the new company was able to acquire all the wonderful trail horses and staff back so the business could continue... More

We had reservations for a 2pm ride on May 24, 2013. Tried calling and checking the website to get directions to the stables. Both were not working. Our hotel was kind enough to find out for us that the stable has closed down. It would have been nice of them to let us know they weren't going to honor our... More

Currently closed for renovations, not sure when it will reopen. Try the Molera Horseback Tour in Big Sur.

My daughter and I rode Buckley and Pickles with our guide Chelsea on a private tour of the Delmonte forest, golf courses and beach. The beautiful scenery we passed on our trek through the forest and down to the beach let us view sights we could not have seen in our car. Chelsea was an awesome tour guide giving us... More

The barns are set in the magical fairy land known as Pebble Beach. The peninsula that is home to Monterey, Carmel and Pebble Beach is just too beautiful for the senses to take in. We had perfect weather and sunshine- a treat for March. We mounted our horses and 4 riders with a guide set off. Through the redwood forest... More

Two different rides are offered thru the forest, golf courses, and beaches of Pebble Beach. It's so gorgeous here. A group of us locals like to get together and go for a ride in the fresh air. The horses are great and really fun as each as their own distinct personality. The wranglers fit each rider and horse for an... More
