If you decide to go to Pebble Beach for the scenery save your ticket stub from the entry gate ($10). Go visit the bar outside at around 5:30 and sit around the fire pits and order drinks to wait for the Bagpiper who closes the links each evening. The bar overlooks the ocean and the Green. It is a magical... More

This Links style course is beyond challenging, so be ready to shoot a significantly higher round than you are accustomed to!! The greens are link teflon pans, especially with the current drought. Add 'cart path only' to the mix and you're looking at a 5+ hour round at best. On the plus side, it is amazingly beautiful and well maintained.... More

First let me say that it "is not" my intent to be critical in this review, just accurate. I am like most golfers, average in skill set and accustom to typical (nothing fancy) country club conditions. So....for normal guys like most of us, expect to play "The Links" as a bucket list item only. It will not be an enjoyable... More

The Links at Spanish Bay is a great golf course but very hard so be prepared! The course allows some holes to have golf carts on the fairways but not all holes. The views are spectacular of the ocean especially the front 9. The 17 th holes is impossible! I would recommend this course to anyone but bring lots of... More

Punched greens with HEAVY sanded greens that were unplayable. We were not told before playing of the course condition. Afterward it was a: "Whatever attitude". No response from The Inn when we filled out their survey emailed to us. They must not pay attention to anything negative.

Beautiful views from the Patio - loved the Bagpiper. Fabulous dinner at Roy's - awesome ocean view table.

Very tricky and difficult course. Beautiful course, but not easy. Save yourself grief if you are above a 20 handicap

My husband golfed the links at Spanish Bay alone and my daughter and I joined him to soak up the scenery and spend family time together. The course is beyond gorgeous and while quite chilly, the weather/conditions were great. The staff was super friendly from start to finish. Bringing us a blanket for the golf cart and making conversation throughout... More

A great course, right on the bay, with spectacular views and some very challenging golf holes. A great complement to Pebble Beach for someone who wants something just a little easier to navigate (you can drive carts on the fairways here).

Every single aspect of my recent trip to Spanish Bay was awesome! The clubhouse is attractive and the breakfast was good and quick. The staff at the golf course was incredibly attentive and very gracious. The course is simply beautiful and the layout opens to incredible vistas of the ocean. We had a little morning fog but it blew through... More
