We had known about Tablas Creek, but never stopped at the tasting room. Will never make that mistake again. This is a must on your wine adventure thru Paso Robles. They make absolutely spectacular Rhone blends. Whites and reds are equally fantastic. Don't miss this experience.

Tucked towards the northern end of the Paso Robles area, we found charming servers and delicious wines. We have really been won over by the wonderful wines of this wine making region. And Tablas Creek did not disappoint. The elegant tasting room is worth a stop and even a detour!

We stopped at Tablas Creek on our recent trip to Paso Robles after two other wineries recommended the winery. Tablas Creek imported vines from the Rhone region of France. They create wonderful, complex, balanced, smooth, and food friendly wines. My husband and I loved every one of their wines. The staff was knowledgeable and very personable. Tablas Creek allows dogs... More

Outstanding wine tasting. In addition to tasting the wines as part of a regular tasting, our server clearly listened to our preferences and brought out a few additional wines that she thought we’d like. She treated us to what seemed like a lesson in Rhone-style winemaking, and we learned a great deal about the winery’s history. If we lived closer... More

Tablas Creek was recommended by a local restaurant staffer who knew his wines. If you are familiar with the big Cabs, Merlots, and Pinots that California is known for, stretch your grape knowledge at the home of where Rhone varietals meet the New World. The first proprietor to introduce Rhone grapes to America offers a pleasant tasting experience. The facility... More

During a recent wine tasting trip to the Paso Robles area, we visited Tablas Creek Vineyard. You will notice a few nice touches at this winery that you won’t experience elsewhere. For example, there are metal flasks of chilled water sitting in a large vat that you can consume should you choose to picnic there or just sit out on... More

This was another vineyard that was on our list to visit and it did not disappoint. Tablas is a bit different in they specialize in French varietals. Now I understand all the accolades French wine receive. The problem is, you have to go to France to get their good stuff. Tablas has solved that problem. The grounds and building are... More

One of the last stops on our trip, Tablas Creek was a world apart from our first stop at Tobin James. Small tasting counters avoid the feel of bellying up to the bar. Our server had extensive knowledge of the history of the company and provided insight into the French-style wines they produce. Wines were very good. Tasteful decor/kitchen-type items... More

This is an amazing winery experience. They are truly practicing sustainable winemaking, and even have things in place in their tasting room that help spread their concept to everyone. Aluminum water canisters rather than plastic water bottles, low-e lighting, they are doing things right, and their wine is incredible!
