Adelaida Cellars' family owned vineyards include seven distinct properties totaling 168 acres in the craggy mountainous terrain of Paso Robles' Adelaida District. Only 14 miles from the Pacific Ocean on steep elevated sites, a diverse planting of 24 varieties with an emphasis in Rhônes, old vine pinot noir, dry farmed zinfandel, and mountain style cabernet sauvignon, our stressed vines produce low yields of precise flavor.

We had a wonderful hilltop tasting with Glenn a couple of weeks ago. The view and wines were amazing. While we had no intention of purchasing wine, we actually purchased some and joined the wine club. It was that good. All the staff that we spoke with were very friendly and knowledgable. Can't wait to go back and visit again!

Tony was the consummate host for our Hilltop Reserve Wine Tasting. I adore these wines anyway but must say coming from the Willamette Valley, I was blown away by their big Pinot Noir this year! We've been members for several years and these wines just get better and better while the prices stay pretty much the same. Spectacular whites and... More

We have been members of their wine club for a few years now and love going to their tasting room. Their wines are great from top to bottom of the list and have been good every year. Looking forward to their new tasting room.

We really enjoyed Adelaida Cellars. The wine was very good. We enjoyed our tasting experience. Our server was very informative and knew so much about the wine and the area we were very impressed.

We visited Adelaida Cellars as part of a wine-tasting trip to Paso Robles. The wines are delicious, but the staff (Debbie and Betsy) made this an exceptional wine-tasting experience. They shared info about the region and were just great hosts. We also sampled some of their dry-farmed almonds, lightly toasted. We visiting about 10 wineries over a 2-day period and... More

My wife and I were enjoying spending the day wine tasting, but the day got even better when we were welcomed by Baretta at Adelaida cellars. He made the tasting very special and different from any other as we could ask any question we wanted (as you expect), but also laughed so much listening to his stories. Thank you Baretta... More

We stopped in around lunchtime after originally planning to taste the wines and picnic at the nearby Daou winery (what a disappointment THAT was...snooty, pricey and no picnicing allowed-see my "Don’t do Daou" review). The experience at Adelaida was completely different. I heard a welcoming greeting from the parking lot already as the first people in our group entered the... More

This was a great stop on our wine tasting tour. Very knowledgable about wines. You can bring your own snacks, or they have a convenient fridge with snacks to purchase while you taste!

This is a good winery to visit. My wife signed up for the wine club, but I cancelled the membership -- only average wine and expensive. There are better choices out there.

They last stop on our Wine tour but certainly one of the best. Great wines and lovely people who were informative and friendly. Immediately says stay as long as you like and offered a complementary ice wine on top of their standard flight. Very nice indeed.
