We have spent many weekends in Paso Robles and had never visited this unique museum. I only wished we had had more time as we arrived an hour and 15 minutes prior to closing. The museum of artifacts from WW I through the Vietnam War was fascinating. However, the most fascinating part of the museum was outside where the old... More

You can easily spend a couple of very interesting hours in Paso Robles at this nonprofit museum for only $10 per person. Not only the written and photo history of US involvement in wars of the 20th century, but a filght simulator you can use, a large collection of war planes, and a terrific collection of well-maintained cars, cycles, etc.... I was amazed at how well done the museum and it's displays were. The number of displays including old aircraft and cars was incredible for something not as well known. If you go, I'm sure you'll be surprised at the value!

I've been meaning to stop here for years and finally did. We planned one hour and stayed three. War planes, Higgins Boat, tanks, jeeps, stock cars, military memorabilia, old cars and motorcycles, on and on. A great place with nice people. I'll be back.

There were a lot more planes and other vehicles on display than I expected. Each item had an informative plaque next to it. Time well spent.

Took my 5 year-old. He wasn't mature enough to appreciate all that was there. However, he did like the jet fighter simulator.

While traveling down the highway my son and I saw a sign for the museum and decided to check it out and boy oh boy we were not disappointed. For only $10 each we got to experience not only an air museum (US and other countries) but military vehicles and an auto museum that was one of the best that... More
