A decent collection of planes, autos and military memorabilia. Both the children (ages 5-9) enjoyed this place.

If you like vintage airplanes and history of aviation then this place will fill you interest. Worth the time spent seeing planes that are not only historic but many still fly. Its not uncommon to see a P-40 or the like wafting by in the air around Paso Robles, Atascadero and Templeton.

Small museum but worth visiting. Lot of military memorabilia, plans, ground vehicles and weapons. Also have the Woodland vehicle display of antique cars and a lot of race cars. Very much enjoyed our visit.

On the way home from a family vacation in SLO we decided to stop by the Estrella Warbirds Museum. My boys and I play a lot of board games with a military theme so they have learned most of the vehicles used in the various World Wars. After driving down the paved barely two laned road we pulled in. The... More

You can walk up to actual warbirds and see how big they really are. They have aircraft, armor, artillery, uniforms, artifacts from all the great wars. Every rifle ever fired by the military. All actual military items. Many of the warbirds actually fly for air shows and other events.

rather large plane, military vehicle, sprint car and classic car museum. Quite large given the size of town it sits in.

Interesting planes and memorabilia from the past wars. There are also old cars. Nice tour but short.

If you have someone military in your family, this will bring back some great memories. Unlike most museums, these planes are loaded - many still have their tailhooks, armaments and even the fuel line for inflight refueling. Lots of planes from the different services, but also some interesting vehicles and a full line of missiles and weapons. Loads of history... More

Good restorations of aircraft, mainly from WW2, plus a few nice cars and an excellent pick-up truck. The air strip operates, should your want to fly in.
