We visited Tobin James as part of our Valentine's Day weekend in Cambria. It was so much fun! The place was full of people, and very happy servers! We enjoyed the wine, very generously poured! So much so, that we kept dumping our samples since we had to drive back to Cambria! The drive is incredible! We felt like we... More

A very unique tasting room, beautiful furnishings right out of the old West. Plenty of bar space for tastings, I counted four separate areas. The wines were first class and the tasting was free. A great stop on the Wine trail.

One sunny Friday afternoon, my wife and I drove down from the San Francisco Bay Area to Southern Cal along Hwy 101. The hillsides were dotted with countless vineyards – so many that it was difficult to choose where to go for that one wine tasting stop. With the help of Yelp, we settled on Tobin James. It was rated... More

We enjoyed these wine varietals and also Justin, who talked with us and recommended a wonderful selection of wines to taste. This is easily accessible off Highway 46 and is a great spot to taste some good local wines. And, the tasting is complimentary--unusual nowadays for CA wineries. We had a very pleasant visit.

This winery presented itself as a very clean place, with customer service being a priority. We drank the regular tasting list and then the server asked us if we would like to try a reserve. It was absolutely amazing. We are red wine drinkers so we did not try any white ones. Each and every red wine we tasted, were... More

Always our favorite and first stop when going through Paso. This trip however was even better. Jessica was the absolute best at Tobin James! Full of great info and a wonderful host as we picnicked on the bar because of the storms rolling through! Great memories! Thank You Jessica you were awesome!

Conveniently located arriving to Paseo Robles, this was our first wine tasting stop. For being a Tuesday before noon - new year's eve week. I was surprised how busy all three tasting areas were. Tastings were complimentary and if you join the wine club which is complimentary you'll receive 15% discounts on bottles and 20% on cases. In addition, for... More
