Popped into Tobin James for a quick tasting and had a very nice experience. All of the wines were delicious, our server was friendly and attentive, and the wines were all reasonably priced. Would return again.

This was a nice friendly place with free wine tasting. They have award winning wines but the only one I really did like the Moscato and the price was quite reasonable. The winery is built on the site of an old stage coach stop. Definitely worth a stop.

We went here on the recommendation of friends. The place is a kick with a huge old fashioned bar and great staff. The reason for the 4 stars is we didn't really care for the wines on the regular tasting menu. They were inexpensive, but just didn't hit the palate very well. When we mentioned that our friends were members... More

Tobin James has a good Cabernet Sauvignon for a very reasonable price. The tasting room is usually packed and very lively. Very good service.

On a recent visit to the Paso Robles wine country, I came across Tobin James Cellars and was more than pleasantly surprised. After experiencing the "stuffy" wineries, one of the locals suggested Tobin James. You talk about a good time. The "tasting room" was more like a western bar from the old west and the pouters treat you like old... More

This winery is so much fun! They have great wines and the staff are fun and knowledgeable! The atmosphere is like stepping into a saloon and everyone is friendly :) Outside has a wonderful sitting area - I wish I had it at my home!

If you had a bucket list, I would add Tobin James to it. Employees are like family and cater to your needs, which is filling you glass up again. It is a high energy winery that surrounds you with people that are very friendly and fun. Everyone you talk to has nothing but good things to say about the experience... More

Yes, Tobin James wines are excellent but what made this experience so fun was the staff and the atmosphere inside the tasting room. It was like a big party, so much energy!! If you want to slow it down, they have a lovely patio as well. Watch out for that wine club, you can't beat it!!
