JUSTIN Winery is family owned and operated, and makes estate grown and produced wines. The property was founded in 1981 by Justin and Deborah Baldwin when they planted their 160 acre property to the major Bordeaux varietals and created their Estate vineyard. Justin's has undergone a complete revamping of the grounds, restaurant and tastings. I love it. The wines were excellent! My brother has a couple of bottles shipped every month to his house in Bakers's field. The menu had a variety of choices. I loved the brussel sprouts. The outer leaves were toasty with a hint of balsamic vinegar! Wow! The... More

I love driving the green and shaded country roads to get to Justin winery (one of the 'Far Out' wineries of this region) To me, it's a real joy when I slow to allow wild turkey or deer to cross the road. If you 'stop to smell the wildflowers', you can almost forget the troubles and deadlines of our everyday... More

Winery tasting room and grounds completely redone. I liked the old tasting room and grounds a lot more, but parking was very limited. Now they do have a lot more parking. I was told by one of the locals that the Justin winemaker had moved to Halter Ranch, which might explain the decline in quality of their cabernet sauvignon. The... More

We were in the area for Valentines/President's weekend and stopped for another visit to Justin. The weather was perfect for mid February with the sun shining and warm. As such, we found a small table on the tasting patio where one can purchase wine tasting flights. We enjoyed ours. The patio was so pleasant with people enjoying their flights; some... More

Nice facilities and great wine tasting. To be honest I would have rated it average if it wasn't for Alex. He was very engaging and knowledgeable about the wines he poured and we really appreciated the time he took to chat with us about more then just the wines. We ended up buying four of the wines we sampled.

The tasting room is gorgeous. The staff is exceptional. The wines are very expensive. Glad we went, will not return. There are plenty of great wines that I would rather buy.

Justin Vineyards is a high end operation in Paso Robles and offers a great tour of the vineyard and wine caves with wine tasting throughout the hour tour. The tour was complimentary to us as we were staying next door at Just Inn. Our tour guide, Megan, was an enthusiastic guide with a great attitude-she loves her job! Her knowledge... More

We had been refered to Justin's by a good friend who had himself had a delightful tasting. We found this place a good deal out of town but a nice drive. When we arrived the parking lot was quite crowded, always a good sign for us. Took a walk around and found the grounds, patio area most comfortable with nice... More

Not a fan. Justin has gone from being family-owned to a large corporate concern, now owned by Roll International along with Fiji Water, Pom Wonderful, Paramount Farms, and the largest private owner of a water bank in the valley. Along with cutting down 100's of oak trees for one of their new plantings they have also pumped untold quantities of... More

We didn't do the tasting but decided to follow a recommendation for Lunch. Well worth the journey. Great setting for lunch on the terrace with views over the vineyard with the mountains as a backdrop . Light lunch was very good with attentive service. The only criticism were the comical soup bowls. One lady had her sleeve decorated and James... More
