Justine was a great host and made us feel at home. The wines were fantastic, really enjoyed all there reds. My wife and I really liked Avenger and Willow Creek Cuvee. There white wine, Fiano was great, very unique. Will be ordering more wine soon. Definitely my favorite winery in Paso Robles. I have been to Booker, Linne Calodo, Denner,... More

Found their wines back in the early 2000 s but given college billswe fell off the list and drank from the inventory Was in SF area in January and decided to visit Paso instead of Napa Was glad we did. They remembered me and gad superb time. Was a quiet day after New Years and we had a great time.... More

If you are in Paso to taste good wines, you need to go off the beaten path and find this place. These folks are producing some of the best reds in the area, though I warn you they are pricey. We worked through their selection and ended up joining the club and taking away a number of wines. Both of... More

EVEN under construction? I'd never go back...VERY expensive, limited wines and not worth the money. NO ambience to the area whatsoever...I had read pretty good reviews...I'm at a loss to explain anyone who 'get's around' the wineries of California could rate this one well...REALLY??? This place needs MAJOR work on both their wine and location and presentation. Definitely won't be... More

I attended Villa Creek's annual spring event and it was fantastic. This is the first chance I've had to attend one of these events and it was a beautiful day at the winery. The foodstream trailer food was very filling. I liked the ability to taste both the summer releases and the spring releases at the event. The dogs were... More

This seems to be a real "local's" hangout as we were told people would ride up on their horses and "park" them in the back. A great bar and outstanding food! We started with Tacos for Taco Tuesday - chicken, carnitas, smoked beef - great, then moved on to a steak - my husband said best ever flank steak he... More

We heard good reviews and emailed ahead to make a reservation. When we rolled in Cris was busy on the crush pad, but stopped to greet us. We ended up chatting about his grapes for almost thirty minutes, tasted some grenache vs syrah that were handy, and then had four tastings. The dogs were very friendly and added to the... More

This is hands down the best winery in Paso Robles and one of the best wineries in California. Cris Cherry learned to make wines from some of the best in the business, and their wineries are some of the best too.(Saxum, Linne Calodo, and even Garretson which sadly is no longer in business). The proves my point about wine and... More

Villa Creek Cellars is off the beaten path, and is the most unassuming tasting room you're likely to find -- inside the metal winemaking building where they make the wine and store the barrels. The "tasting bar" is little more than a plank stretched between two wine barrels. So if you're into well-appointed wine tasting rooms with expansive views over... More

Located on Peachy Canyon Road just a few miles in from the Vineyard Drive & Peachy Canyon intersection, Villa Creek Winery should be on your list if you're interested in tasting suburb Rhone wines in an informal setting. The tasting room is in the front area just off the parking lot and consists of a simple table set up among... More
