We visited based on a business colleague's referral and were absolutely amazed at the beautiful views as well as the fantastic wine and food. But what made our visit standout was the wonderful team at Daou who were very friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the winery and the wines they produce. We have toured dozens of... More

Okay, we were starved & no restaurants nearby. Daou offers a lunch with wine tasting. The food was good and inventive and the wine was very nice. The cost comes in with a requirement to buy so much product. 150 dollars later we had lunch, a tasting, and a bottle of wine... The reason to visit this place is that... More

I had an gourmet lunch and wine pairing! Thier specials change weekly. I had the duck and my friend the beef cheeks. Both were awesome. They need to offer a chocolate to top off the lunch and it would be perfect. You can eat in or out. Reservations required. For wine lovers they have 3 wine tasting menus which are... More

Went to Daou at the end of a wine tasting day in Paso and caught was wowed by the amazing views! Caught the sunset there as I did the Reserve tasting. It's a beautiful tasting room perched atop a hill with amazing views and beautiful grounds. My only regret was not spending more time there. Their tastings are a bit... More

Daou still has the best view of any winery in the Paso Robles Area, however they have enough "Estate Wines" now that they have significantly raised their rates for wine tasting. They charge $45 for tasting their "Estate Wines" and $30 for their other wines. We took friends there and they were shocked at the price since we had free... More

The price has been raised for their tasting and I thought it was high before. The personnel in the tasting room seem to have an attitude and really the wine is ok but not great.

Daou Vineyards is a destination in itself. Amazing views from every angle of the hilltop winery. The tasting room is one of the nicest we have seen. If it is a nice day I highly suggest having lunch or afternoon lite bites on their patio. Their food menu is both good and interesting. We have been there twice now and... More

From the moment you step inside the winery, you know you're at a special place. The decor is warm, inviting and chic. We selected the reserve tasting and were not disappointed. A nice touch with the tasting was the bread sticks served with their own olive oil for dipping...very tasty. After our tasting, we walked around the outside of the... More

Visited during a "girls reunion trip." Lucky for us, one of the group was already a member. Tastings, (free for members), some fabulous wines, great "backstory," good food (roast veggies & cheese platter), but above and beyond all else-- the setting! Compares to anything in Napa / Sonoma and most certainly exceeds any other neighboring view. My only regret, I... More

Went there with a group of 11 friends this past Sunday. Wonderful experience. Had an appointment and they set us up.on the patio. Totally spoiled us. Great wine, great service, TOP NOTCH all the way around. Thank you team Daou! Wish i could remember our servers name - Tara? Give that girl a raise.
