This is a must see winery. The wines are excellent, the setting is beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. They also serve food. Join the wine club for more benefits. Don't miss it. You feel like you are on top of the world.

Knowing we were coming to Paso Robles, I asked a wine fiend: "we have one place to go: what do you recommend?" She said Daou. We came, we tremendously enjoyed our visit, and we joined the wine club! Brandon was very informed about the history and varietals, weather was great and it wasn't exceedingly hot due to the higher elevation... More

The view is worth going up to this place! I did not care for their wines, but that was just me, my friends loved them!

Title says it all. This was the most amazing vineyard in town. The views, the wine, the food, the tasting, the staff...it was incredible. It felt like being transported to Spain and being in the middle of a secret society. The tasting room is filled with accented wood carvings, authentic tile floors and the view from the outdoor dining area... More

We visited this winery on an office trip. The staff was very courteous and professional, especially the Manager Lisa. The views of the Paso Robles wine region are stunning. If you are hitting multiple wineries in the region, make sure you budget the most time for Daou. When you are imbibing, ask about the 'Story of the Daou Brothers' -... More

What’s not to like here? The highest elevation winery in the Paso area, with spectacular 300 degree views, a beautiful and well-appointed property, excellent wines, a delicious offering of food/wine pairings and plenty of outdoor seating space in which to enjoy it all. In fact, since lunch places are virtually non-existent on Paso’s west side, I’d suggest planning your day... More

We spent a week touring Paso Robles wineries with another couple. This one has, hands down, the most spectacular view. It has a beautiful building perched on the top of a mountain with panoramic views. The building itself is a gem. The bar is made of a onyx, which allows the light to shine through. Outside a covered patio allows... More

Yep - crazy prices for the tastings, but if you buy 2 bottles, the tasting is free. Or why not go buy a bottle and sit and enjoy the breeze and the view (beyond amazing) for a few hours. Even better....their food from the food/wine menu is excellent. Try the beef cheek sliders. Or the pork sliders. Or the lamb... More

The wines were very good but we found them to be too expensive for the quality. The view was amazing so that is the saving grace for this winery. The tastings were $20 or $30 which is very unusual for Paso Robles to be that expensive.

Really, it's an incredible view that's well worth the drive to find this winery. And the wines are excellent too. But $30 a person to do a tasting, when the sole purpose of a tasting is to entice you to buy their bottles? That's being a bit too greedy, I think. If you want a nice lunch with some very... More
