The views and wines are some of the best in Paso Robles. The Spanish-inspired tasting facility is just a pleasure. Service is not a problem (as long as you're not expecting table service like the obvious high-maintenance reviewer below). Everything was great!!

Another winery on top of a hill, and a view that can't be beat. Red wines are the best here, especially the Zinfandel and the Cabernet Sauvignons, whether reserve or otherwise, they're all great! Service is always prompt and courteous but a little cooler and more formal than most other wineries in the area. Still, even on Saturday it's a... More

We are Wine Club members and this was the 3rd time we have visited this winery. The 1st time we went, we had better service before we joined the wine club than we've had for our 2nd or 3rd visit. After being seated, we couldn't get anyone to serve us, then finally someone came and served us but disappeared before... More

This winery and vineyard is breathtaking beautiful and the wines are outstanding. I would highly suggest Daou Vineyards for anyone looking for great wines and courteous/professional staff. Nothing was less than stellar from the tasting bar to the location and scenery. Definitely a place to revisit again and again!! We went in the busy harvest season so was able to... More

I'm lucky to live in the area, so I'll often invite business associates here for a drink and snack at lunch. Incredible view, very relaxing with comfy outdoor furniture, some nice snacks. Highly recommended.

This review is to compliment Daou - the brothers and their team - for a fantastic party at the Hearst Castle last weekend. The event was perfectly conceived, planned and delivered. Daou made everyone feel like we were royalty - dining and dancing under opulent stars. Bravissimo!!! PS - the wine, of course, was fantastic.

I'm very disappointed, this wasn't the warm vineyard I once remembered. Full disclosure, I was a member of their wine club for 2 years, but it lapsed about a year ago. The view is flat out gorgeous, and they have one of the classier tasting rooms and facilities! So maybe that's a part of the $20 tasting fee for 6... More

We visited the Paso Robles area to tour some wineries in early August 2014. We had some suggestions about where to visit, but we made a point to ask each of the wineries we visited where *they* suggested. Daou Vineyards kept being mentioned. As it turns out, based on our travel from south to north, Daou was our last vineyard... More

We've heard of expensive tastings, but never encountered this before... We had a tour group of 10, and on the spur of the moment, added Daou Vineyards to our itinerary to check the view and maybe taste. Granted, arriving on the spur of the moment with a large group is not appreciated by the wineries, so apologies for that faux... More

Yes the views and the tasting room are spectacular. The wine was just okay, nothing spectacular, and definitely not worth the price. Also, the tasting room attendant was rather cold, and a little rude.
