The beauty of the Daou Vineyards simply takes your breath away. The Winery sits up high with a view of the surrounding country side. The water feature added an old word charm to the surroundings. It made you want to sit and stay awhile. The wine was excellent. We were so glad our limo driver recommended stopping. My trip would... More

Million dollar tasting room and surrounding grounds. Wines are high end and production is limited (15,000 cases per year) add up to a worthwhile visit. High on a mountinan - nothing like it in Paso.

Our visit to the winery was worth the drive..the wine, especially the reserve Cab is exceptional. The owner, who we had the pleasure to meet, was interesting, funny, and gracious...the view is spectacular...the food, even though we did not eat there, looked awesome !!! This winery is a must visit next time you are in the area!

A spectacular view awaits you when you wend your way through the West side of Paso Robles and begin your ascent to the highest point among the rolling hills. A beautiful winery, with a spacious outdoor area, and ample space in the tasting room. The wine is pricy, as is the tasting fee of $20. The fee is waived, if... More

Winery is located on top of a mountain, which allows for a beautiful view. The wines served are pricey $$$$$ and tasting fee is $20. Not in the same league as other Paso Roble vineyards. Good tourist experience for novice wine fans. Great view though.

We visited Daou on Dec 23 to try out the food and wine parings. The location is great. The person who helped us in the tasting room was very good and pretty knowledgeable. We ordered a food and wine pairing and sat outside. The server delivered the food without silverware or napkins. We had trouble checking out because of staff's... More
