I'm very disappointed, this wasn't the warm vineyard I once remembered. Full disclosure, I was a member of their wine club for 2 years, but it lapsed about a year ago. The view is flat out gorgeous, and they have one of the classier tasting rooms and facilities! So maybe that's a part of the $20 tasting fee for 6... More

We visited the Paso Robles area to tour some wineries in early August 2014. We had some suggestions about where to visit, but we made a point to ask each of the wineries we visited where *they* suggested. Daou Vineyards kept being mentioned. As it turns out, based on our travel from south to north, Daou was our last vineyard... More

We've heard of expensive tastings, but never encountered this before... We had a tour group of 10, and on the spur of the moment, added Daou Vineyards to our itinerary to check the view and maybe taste. Granted, arriving on the spur of the moment with a large group is not appreciated by the wineries, so apologies for that faux... More

Yes the views and the tasting room are spectacular. The wine was just okay, nothing spectacular, and definitely not worth the price. Also, the tasting room attendant was rather cold, and a little rude.

We went here because we heard from several people that it was worth it for the amazing view. That is so true and there's plenty of seating close to the edge and also outside under cover on the porch. I believe you can pre-order a lunch and get some wine to take outside and just relax. We tasted the wine... More

Probably one of the best views of any winery in the Paso Robles area. The wines are top notch and have a great staff. When the Lavender is in bloom on the hill below the tasting room the air is full of fragrance. Great venue to kick back on their patio have a nice glass of wine and enjoy the... More

Daou Vineyards is beautiful; from its Spanish influenced architecture to the pastoral vineyards, the environment beacons your senses. Our wine tasting experience was perfect and the sommelier very knowledgeable. We purchased the Granache Blanc and the Reserved Zinfandel in celebration of our California vacation. I would recommend Daou Vinyards to anyone seeking an afternoon of sensual delight.

We decided against doing a tasting here and opted instead for a glass of wine and a chance to relax and enjoy the view. The views really are spectacular and the tasting room is very swanky. I can't comment on all their wine but the glass I had wasn't to my taste. Worth a stop and it would make an... More

The views may be beautiful, but so are lots of places in Paso. The $20 tasting fee with 1/2 oz pour stopper on tastings barely gives you a taste of their ok wine. The staff is rude, the service poor and you don't get to keep the glass. In fact they have a surly old lady monitoring the glasses. We... More

The wine is very good. Located about 10 miles from paso has a view to die for. The wine pourers are frendly and busy. This place has it all! My frends from San Jose are now members and we can now meet six times a year since my wife and I are also members at another winery,
