The wine is very good. Located about 10 miles from paso has a view to die for. The wine pourers are frendly and busy. This place has it all! My frends from San Jose are now members and we can now meet six times a year since my wife and I are also members at another winery,

This gorgeous tasting room sits on top of a hill with 360 degree view of Paso Robles. Most all the staff are wonderful. Katie explained the wine club perfectly, she said a tasting was $20 and if we joined it would apply to our purchase. Note: the website states $15. None-the-less, the wine club is a nice option as it... More

When you reach the parking lot of DAOU Vineyards you are rewarded with a great view of DAOU mountain. In fact I was sorry I couldn’t change my appointment when winemaker/proprietor Daniel Daou offered me a personal tour at a different time. Once inside we were greeted by Tasting Room Associate Bricklyn Brown, who stood over a huge rectangular shaped... More

Daou is atop a hill with great views of the valley below. They have a wonderful outdoor grass patio area with inviting chairs to sit and sip. The tasting room is very well done and all decor and furnishings are top notch. As with all wine, it is tough to say that this spot is better than any of the... More

The view was simply amazing. We did our tasting inside the large, new, and beautiful tasting room. Our tasting hostess was informative but not necessarily an expert (that's okay). After our tasting, because we wanted to stay for the view a bit, we bought a glass of wine and sat in the chairs outside. You can judge the wines for... More

What a magnificent view. They have 360 views of the area and it is stunning. Great truffle popcorn and servers. Not a fan of the wines though. Note: We overheard that you cannot buy food without a wine purchase.

We visited Daou Vineyards on a very cold and rainy day in February. It was a warm and inviting experience; the staff was delightful, the wine is excellent. We returned a few hours later and sat in front of their beautiful fireplace and enjoyed an al fresco lunch: an avocado salad and a French bean and duck confit cassoulet. We'll... More

visited Daou recently and was impressed by the location, building and vision. The wines were excellent. The scenery was breathtaking. Wines are not inexpensive, but the winemaking techniques and adherence to high standards justify the prices. IT is a bit of a drive from Paso, like 20 minutes, but driving through this lovely countryside was a treat too.

At the top of a hill, you can see for miles. Wine is great but the view is even better. Can bring a picnic lunch and buy a bottle of vino!!!
