This was our first wine tasting stop. The place is on the main highway, by the hill, surrounded by grape orchard. The building is made of light-colored bricks and looked grand from the street and even more appreciated when up close. It was a 4th of July weekend when we visited but the place was not busy as expected and... More

Stopped here on a whim, after I was told about the great wines in Paso Robles. Niner was by far one of the best wineries I visited ( I came from Nappa and Sonoma on vacation ) The hosts were informative and fun, the wines are excellent and I bought some ( not to pricey $ 45.00 ) Overall a... More

If you're lucky enough to be in Paso Robles when Niner has one of their chef's cooking classes, take advantage of it. These are four hour affairs that entertain, educate and delight even those who don't give a whit about preparing a meal. We attended an event that started with a tour of an abalone farm and was followed by... More

We stopped by Niner this weekend for some wine tasting. The setting is beautiful and the building is just amazing. Definitely worth a stop to see the architecture alone. We had good service during the wine tasting and they had a summer six pack special with a nice discount for any combination of their whites. It was a great value... More

When you only have four days, and your limit is (and probably should be) three wineries a day, making the list of twelve isn't easy. But Niner was definitely a keeper. We were told by a good friend that she wanted to live at Niner. She has really good taste, so we knew we had to visit. The tasting room... More

This place was not only visually stunning, but the wines were fabulous!! We stopped in one day on our way to another winery. We had never heard of this one so we thought let's just check it out and see what we think. We liked it so much that we ended up coming back the next day for wine and... More

Well. Appearances will fool. At the lovely stone buildings off the Niner Winery you would expect lovely service, but instead they were rude. Matt in the kitchen was friendly enough, but Hillary at the wine bar was just plain belligerent...the upshot is find the nearby Grey Wolf Winery or any of the other small family spots for pure graciousness...the Niner... My husband and I stopped here for food as we were making our way through the Paso Robles wine country. According to the kitchen chefs, lunch service is something new and there was a little disconnect between the wine server/cashier and the kitchen in terms of our food order. We had ordered something not being served that day but on... More

This winery is stunningly beautiful. However, once I mentIoned that we were "newbies" at wine tasting, we were pretty much abandoned by the staff. We did enjoy lunch out on the terrace. The lavender field is beautiful.
