I am new to wine tasting. But I loved this winery. I loved the trains and just the whole rustic feel of this winery. And of course the wine was pretty good too. I would recommend picnicking at this winery, We wished we had brought a picnic lunch as the grounds are beautiful. We loved the onsite shopping too.

We visited the area for Harvest Festival weekend - - we stopped at Pomar for their Train Wreck FRI, which is an event that consists of a live band, wine tasting and food. We paid the $10 per person and set our folding chairs on the lawn in front of the band. The live music was fun as we ate... More

Cute little winery and grounds. Wasn't overly impressed, only walked away with one bottle (which is rare for me!) and that was mainly just to have something from every stop. I think the staff was busy getting ready for Harvest Wine Weekend, but they didn't seem very attentive or warm. We were tasting at the same time as another couple... More

If you have not tried Pomar Junction, you are missing out, They have improved dramatically in the past year and I see a very big improvement to come, the wines are so tasty and they have great events. The new Trainwreck wine coming out now is going to be an award winner in my prediction. A beautiful setting to enjoy... More

We had been meaning to stop by Pomar Junction Winery for quite a while. Went in and was immediately struck by the amazing views, vineyard rows and beautiful trees. As we meandered toward the tasting room, browsed the gift area. Tasted the line up an chatted with the very nice and knowledgeable staff in the tasting room. A wonderful and... More

Their location is terrific and fun. They hold summer Friday night concerts. The wine is pretty good too!

Yes, there were fruit flies in the wine and they were straining them out and pouring in to glasses. They were bent out of shape that we asked for new wine to be opened. Will not ever return.
