This is the type of winery in Paso Robles that makes you want ot live here. Visited this with the Wine line shuttle. Our tasting took place outside on the amazing patio and views. Our hosts gave us a cheese plate to have with the wine and then came around with sample pours and the recommended wine to have with... More

This winery was recommended by a wine pourer from another winery. We asked for a smaller winery with good wines, that wouldn't be visited by the tour buses. Mitchella - right behind Robert Hall. How right she was! You feel like you are going to the Robert Hall back door, but you keep on driving. And here's this very unassuming... More

Walking into their Tasting Room, you know you will be in for a treat with all of the Ribbons they have won for their wines....and I was NOT disappointed. Their wine is so smooth, and delicious you will find yourself taking several bottles home, and they also have a wine club.....JOIN!!! I was there over Thanksgiving, and look forward to... More

Very welcoming staff. Enjoyed the overall wine tasting, asteroid game, delicious chile verde, vineyard view, and homey ambiance. The red dessert wine was my favorite (although the pour barely covered the bottom of the glass). Great first time visit and must stop by again.

Fantastic wine! If they still have the Malbec buy it all! I almost did. Super cute, small winery and tasting room was packed with guests. Hostess was pouring at least 7 wines, people were gathering on the backyard tables sitting with staff. This is not a 30 minute in and out place. You can sit with friends and take your... More

We stopped here Dec 29, 2013. I wanted to try their 2012 Viognier, which we purchased at $20/bottle. We also "fell" for the catchy name on their red wine "Cheap B_____d" at $15 bottle (Trip Advisor won't allow the profanity so you can fill in the blanks or check the winery website). The Mitchella lable is so elegant, you don't... More

We LOVED Mitchella! It was an absolutely beautiful property. The service was impeccable. We brought a picnic lunch and sat outside on the patio. We will be back!

My wife and I were in Paso for a getaway weekend and visited Mitchella, where we were treated like longtime friends of the family. The tasting room staff was courteous and knowledgeable, the vineyard dog was a hoot and, most importantly to me, the wine was/is superb. I'm now a club member, looking forward to club member events.

Spanish Hacienda house turned into a tasting room. $5 tasting fee waived with purchase of a bottle. Nothing spotty here, but take note the Cabernet Franc is a standout in the genre (we took one home). I wouldn't make this stop a sole main objective, but if you are going on an afternoon trek of wine tasting in the area... More

I was told to come here by Rosie over at Penman Springs (yes...you MUST also go here). Mitchella has some great wine! It's hidden by Robert Hall's huge winery up front on Mills and Mitchell roads. Small place, friendly non pretentious staff. Wine is very good! One of the best pinot noirs I've had, and other good reds, good body,... More
