This is a great winery to visit first. The staff is knowledgeable and enjoys sharing wines tasting tips with those who are interested. However, if you want to just taste, you are given the room to relax. It should be noted that you can sample the dressings and other items for sale here, just ask. Happily, we liked many of... More

Of all the vineyards we visited in Paso Robles, Castoro had our favorite wines! They have a wide selection of unique and delicious blends. Sherry guided us through the tasting, suggested some great wines I wouldn't have tried myself, and taught us a lot about wine tasting! It's definitely worth a trip!

This winery has an amazing entrance with grape vines growing over the arborway as you walk in. The hosts have great knowledge and made it fun. The wines were outstnading also

Great Wines and Great Staff!! We just became members during our last trip. Harty Reds and sweet crisp dessert wines are my favorite there. Plus we always bring home a few bottles of grape juice for the kids. A+++++

My friend and I went back to this winery just to see the cat...lol...we were educated by Sherry at the wine bar and had a marvelous time. We bought wine and will always remember how she taught us to move the wine around our tongues to get the full impact of the taste. Just when I thought I didn't need... More

Drove over to play DG, $5.00 to play a great course, plus after you play you get a free wine tasting. The Course is one of the best I've played, have to use all your shots here. Good mix of short and long holes, Old Oaks come in play on every hole. Nice Tee Pads and Benches on every hole.... More

I have been coming to Castoro Cellars since they first opened. They have a great venue for live music. They regularly offer a wide variety of musical talent, from locals to international acts. I've seen everything from banjos, to Western African music. Annually around the beginning of September, they have Beaverstock, which offers two full days of different types of... More

Proprietress Janet was a lovely host at this down to earth vineyard. Great conversation paired very nicely with a generous sampling at a very affordable fee. We finished our tasting with a great harvest Zinfandel emboldened with a dark chocolate truffle. A beautiful 'finish' to our day !

We've been visiting Paso Robles wine country since the early 1990's. We used to stop only at wineries and tasting rooms that had animals to keep our young daughter entertained while we wine tasted. Castoro Cellars was always our favorite because 1) Most picturesque wine entrance - We have annual pictures of our family. 2) Great Events 3) Picnic grounds... More

We live in the Monterey Bay area and have visited Napa and Sonoma wineries for over 30 years. Last year we made our first visit to Paso Robles for wine tasting and just returned for a quick over night last week enroute down to So Cal. We stayed both times at the Paso Robles Inn and really like its downtown... More
