We like to stop here, buy a zin and also our favorite Fandango Olive Oils. The zin here is very nice, the tasting room has a store that sells oils, vinegars and serving dishes.

We love to take a picnic lunch when we are tasting in this area and this is our favorite place.Great shade and nice tables with wonderful view. We are wine club members because the wines are superb and the staff is always fun , informative and not pushy or snobbish. I believe the vibrant lady we always seem to get(... More

We went for a tasting and waited a good 5 mins before they even greeted us. Our driver had gone in and said we were there. It was on of his regular stops. The woman serving us was super slow and a bit off putting. The wine (which subjective) was the least favorite I tasted on this trip. After waiting... More

We have always had such helpful, knowledgeable and personable people assist us whenever we've tasted here. (For one thing, they aren't 20-something years old.) We were disappointed in this year's Pinot Noir offering, but did find four other varietals to take home with us, as well as spinach fettucini which is surprisingly hard to find in Las Vegas grocery stores.... If you are looking for a beautiful place to taste several wines, this is a good spot. The view is spectacular and the tasting room is very nice too. They offer 3 tastings for free and 7 tastings for $5. I think their wines are OK, but not amazing. A little light, but friendly for any palate. My favorite were... More

This is our third time visiting Castoro Cellars in the Paso area. The walkway coming up to the tasting room, is so pretty, with the vines on the archway, and I loved how you could actually touch the grapes. The tasting room is adorable. We love the wines, their tasting fees are so reasonable, and the folks behind the counter... More

We visited this winery with two small children, so we spread a blanket outside and alternated venturing to the tasting room for wine. The bars were full, but well staffed and we never waited more than a few moments. The staff was very friendly and the wine was wonderful.

Great two day music, wine and brew festival with top notch entertainment. We could both Tower of Power and Dave Mason as well as 6 other bands in a great outdoor natura setting. All proceeds from the beer (Toro Canyon) and wine Castoro Cellers were donated to charity. The host family put on an event to remember and we enjoyed... More

We love this place. I have been here with friends and with my gf. Every single time we enjoy it. It is quiet and located on the west side of Paso Robles. You don't get the louc crows that tends to be common in the wineries located on the east side. We usually buy a bottle of wine, and then... More

Visited Castoro during the barrel tasting weekend. First time at the winery. Castoro had 3 different tastings available, 2 reds and a white. All three were outstanding and should only get better by the time the wine is bottled. Property is very scenic, walkway to the tasting room shaded by grape vines. Tasted the winery lineup as well. Didn't have... More
