I have been coming to Castoro Cellars since they first opened. They have a great venue for live music. They regularly offer a wide variety of musical talent, from locals to international acts. I've seen everything from banjos, to Western African music. Annually around the beginning of September, they have Beaverstock, which offers two full days of different types of... More

Proprietress Janet was a lovely host at this down to earth vineyard. Great conversation paired very nicely with a generous sampling at a very affordable fee. We finished our tasting with a great harvest Zinfandel emboldened with a dark chocolate truffle. A beautiful 'finish' to our day !

We've been visiting Paso Robles wine country since the early 1990's. We used to stop only at wineries and tasting rooms that had animals to keep our young daughter entertained while we wine tasted. Castoro Cellars was always our favorite because 1) Most picturesque wine entrance - We have annual pictures of our family. 2) Great Events 3) Picnic grounds... More

We live in the Monterey Bay area and have visited Napa and Sonoma wineries for over 30 years. Last year we made our first visit to Paso Robles for wine tasting and just returned for a quick over night last week enroute down to So Cal. We stayed both times at the Paso Robles Inn and really like its downtown... More

My wife and I have visited Castoro Cellars for about six years in a row, whenever we're in Paso Robles. We love the great atmosphere, the friendly service, and the very good and modestly priced wine (we focus on the reds). The entry-way arbor is one of the best photo spots in the area. Our favorite time to visit is... More

We visited the winery and purchased 2 tastings, it entitled us to share 18 different wines, what a great experience. Nice wine guide behind the counter, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, they refund the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle and the fee is $5 dollars, very reasonable. The winery setting is also very nice.

We stopped at this winery while on a wine tour and received HORRIBLE service. The woman at the wine bar never greeted us, would pour wine without any explanation and would not make eye contact with us. We didn't even do all of our tastings because we were so disappointed in the service. There are far nicer and friendlier wineries... More

After looking for a place to have a picnic lunch, we settled on Castoro Cellars. My in laws live in Paso. We had a picnic lunch on the day before Fathers Day, beautiful grounds, tables spread casually about the property good mix of sun and shade. Bought a glass of wine , big pour for 6 dollars, was quite good.... More

Took a great trip through wine country today. Stopped at another winery before Castoro Cellars, but this one impressed. Great selection of both whites and reds. Three tastings for free. Six for $7. Beautiful outdoor seating to sit and soak in the sun while sipping. No pressure to purchase, but had some great tasting wines. Too bad they can't ship... More
