My wife and I enjoyed most of the wines and our pourer was awesome but Opolo was a little noisy and hectic for us. If you are new onto the wine scène and don't mind just going for the party type of atmosphere this is a great place. We enjoyed most of the wines but would prefer more of a... More

This was our second visit to Opolo. Both times (2 years apart) were a very pleasant experience. There is a small fee for sampling the wine similar to nearly all other wineries and it is well worth it. The tasting room staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The winery owners are likely to be in the area and are very approachable.... More

We stopped here having had our first Opolo at dinner at Madeline's. We loved it and couldn't wait to try more. The tasting room was very crowded which did take away from the experience but the wines are worth it. And the servers are very friendly.

Opollo has a great atmosphere. We loved the outdoor tables and food. It makes a great break on a full day of wine tasting. They also allow dogs at the outdoor tables. The wines are good but not as complex as some that we tasted in the Paso area. If you like smooth and food friendly wines, you will enjoy... More

When we walked into the tasting room we were greeted by Dave, one of the owners, and Roger. Both were so personable and we had more fun tasting wines with them. We were there celebrating a 30th birthday party and they made us feel so special. Dave gave us a private golf cart tour of the grounds and seriously went... More

We just stopped in for lunch, as we had already been to a couple of wineries. We have had their wine before (good wine). The lunch was very good, we had the Pizza and it was fabulous, our friends had the lamb meatballs and they too were very good. It was a very relaxing place to set and eat.

Having been able to purchase the Opolo Mountain Zin at Costco, I was rather hesitant to even visit this winery... and having already been to a few others on the day, realized my tasting tongue would be a bit fatigued... boy was I wrong. They have a simple tasting room - not a big production like others. And their Zinfandels... More

The wines were delicious. The customer service was terrific. Low key and friendly. Not every wine is for every person. We bought two cases of wine. Our friends bought 8 bottles. We each liked different wines. That is why they have selections!!! We like the remote location. Hey if it gets crowded...the more the merrier.

Excellent wine - especially the zinfandel. Our server was well informed about the wines and we were able to sample wines not on the tasting list. Wines range ftom slightly sweet (viongier and sparkling wine) to a full bodied zin to a dry chardonnay. After oir tasting we ate pizza- sitting on the covered patio and enjoyed the view of... More
