Living on the East Coast I have been watching the Rose Bowl Parade on tv since I was a child. At age 72, having moved to Arizona, going to the parade became my goal. We decided to reserve grand stand seats and get reserved parking. It was not expensive and very much worth the money. It was cold but we... More

My wife always had the Rose Parade on her bucket list and since our alma mater was in the Rose Bowl game, we decided to go this year. I looked up these matters on Trip Advisor and found some good advice but since we still made some rookie mistakes I thought I would weigh in. We stayed at a passable... More

Our family attend the Rose Parade for the 1st time. It's always been a bucket list for me to do. I was not disappointed. We purchased grandstand seats in the middle of the parade route. We could see great and the timing projected in the material sent to us beforehand was absolutely accurate. The parking was in a parking garage... More

It's nice to see the display of all these floats in a close distance. However, the parking is hard to find. One should park at few designated parking lots and pay $2 to take the shutter to the viewing areas. The entry fee is another $10 for each person. I think the tournament of Roses organization is going for profit.... More

This is my newfound travel experience: You can travel to New York City, Paris, London, San Francisco, Cancun, Hawaii, Florida, Chicago, New Orleans, etc., and many people who you talk to are happy for you. But when you say that you've been to the Rose Parade, everyone gets excited and interested in the news! This probably is at the top... More

As a first time visitor to parade, we had a great experience. Went to the Rose Bowl area float barns a few days before parade to see floats being built. Were lucky enough to have a parade guide give us a tour of the floats on the ground level. Got very up close to floats and able to see the... More

I booked a tour package for the 2015 Rose parade for myself and my mother. We used the Prime Sports organization, listed as the official tour of the Rose Parade. The price was quite worthwhile for the great seats, convenience, and behind the scenes experiences. Watching the parade on TV over the years cannot in any way prepare you for... More

The Rose Parade is one of those events that every American should see in person at least once. The floats and bands do not disappoint. We went on January 1, 2015. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Old Town Pasadena; you cannot beat this location; yes it is expensive but it is worth it for the convenience; book... More

We attended the 2015 Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA. Normally we do not book tours but given the logistics of attending such an event we booked a tour through Al Brooks. We were not disappointed. We had prime grand stand seats. Our buses parked hundreds of yards from the stands. They were the only company in that great location. We... More

I don't know that I would want to sit for hours waiting for the parade and then have everything zip by . We went to the post parade float viewing and it was perfect ! Sure you miss out on the excitement of the parade and the bands , but the viewing gives you an opportunity to take as many... More
