The Cantor Center is a world class museum experience, without the costs and crowds of people. My wife and I spent several hours exploring the varied exhibits at the Cantor. The "Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts" is actually Stanford University's museum. Leland Stanford was a wealthy railroad tycoon, and this is pretty darn impressive and the size rivals of many other fine art museums in major cities. (See their website).
