Go there for the flowers, for Santa (or the Easter Bunny, depending on the season) and for the great window shopping. All the stores that would have you running all over Manhattan are here very close to each other, all in a wonderful garden-like setting. The people watching is particularly good during the Christmas season - look for the dogs... More

Walked into a virtually empty Macy's men store. Two customers as far as eye could see. Saw one older salesman and asked for help. Said he was looking for something. Went to the cashier counter where a sales clerk was helping a sole customer. The older salesman then came to the counter and when the lone customer was finished, he... More

The main purpose of visiting the shopping center was to go to the American Girl Doll Store which is in Palo Alto, not San Francisco. We skipped the stores we can go to in Seattle but there were quite a few we don't have up here. We sampled some fresh Swiss chocolate and bought shirts at the Stanford shop. We... More

The place was easy to find and filled with shops from high end labels. You could probably spend 2 hrs going around. Place is quite pleasant to walk around

Our primary destination was the Apple store and it was very well set up and easy to get to. There are many 'high end' stores which are both interesting and well adorned.Check out the Tesla showroom.

The Stanford Shopping Center is not the biggest around but it is full of quality shops and restaurants. We went specifically to check out some products and got exactly what we wanted in terms of service and info. It looks like some expansion is in the works and that should only add to an already great venue.

This place is beautifully designed and has high quality department stores and specialist shops. It is a little short on choices for eating but, as it is currently being expanded, with new shops and restaurants due in Spring 2016, that aspect may improve. I particularly like Macy's and Nordstrom for the department stores with Bloomingdales close behind. Parking is plentiful... More

This a beautiful shopping center. They have a great variety of stores and some delicious restaurants. I always used to do my Christmas shopping there when I lived in Palo Alto. They always decorate for the holidays and have fabulous sales. Very great place for a fun day out shopping.

We came from restaurant and wanted to hang out and look for a couple of things along the way so we drove to Stanford shopping center. The center is undergoing some major renovations but the stores are open and one thing we like here is ample seating for shoppers all around the center.
