I'm not much for high end malls, but I enjoyed this one. There are lovely flower planters throughout the outdoor walkways and seating areas. There is a wonderful French bakery, La Baguette, that had fabulous clam chowder. I also tried the Greek sandwich and a raspberry custard pastry. Very delicious!

We used to come here quite often when visiting Palo Alto, but recently we've started to avoid - just too much hassle. Crowds, most of whom seem to be there just to see and be seen, and horrendous parking. The selection of stores is great, but it seems just easier to order online.

2 weeks ago we went to this shopping mall for the first time, my friend and I even spent a night at one of hotels on El Camino Real(residents in PA know there are whole bunch of hotels and motels being found there) for being not sure how long we would spend the time there, because we planned to visit... Went there for black friday, boy did I shop. The stuff here is pretty expensive compare to stuff in other parts of the town though, but I guess that's why it's SSC

Stanford Shopping Center is moderayely inclusive, with major anchors being Macy's, Nordstrom's and Neiman Marcus. There is ample, but crowded, parking. As opposed to an enclosed mall, some major walking is required to "see it all". Small, crowded restaurants are scattered throughout, and even major meat/seafood and produce businesses are present, the former being FABULOUS (Schaub's). Outdoor eateries are major... More

Late in the night jewelry shopping at Macys when the Christmas crowd had subsided a bit. We were able to enjoy the place more. As always a great place.

This outdoor mall is a joy to visit even if you aren't a shopper. Year round there are cheerful flowers spilling over planters, tranquil fountains, and lots and lots of shops. 4 department stores anchor the mall, from high end Neiman Marcus, customer-friendly Nordstrom, trendy Bloomingdales, and Macys. There are lots of brand-name shops and plenty of places to eat.... More

Love walking outdoors to each store. Lots of choices, from good eats to a fabulous marketplace, from clothing to wonderful Sony store, from tea & coffee to delicious hot cocoa and European chocolates. All the popular department stores too! What a great place to shop and eat and shop!
