What a beautiful campus !

This is a beautiful campus. It is so inviting to walk around - or ride around. There is so much GREEN SPACE w/ wonderful landscaping. It just seems like a welcoming campus.

Absolutely beautiful campus with gorgeous architecture and amazing history. There are lots of amazing museums and art displays with several tours available for free. We decided not to take a guided tour but walked around campus at our leisure. I recommend the 360° views from Hoover Tower, where you can see the entire campus; $3 entry fee. Parking costs $1.50... Visiting Stanford for my sister's graduation was one of the proudest moments for us, especially for me. After her graduation program got over, we visited different parts of Stanford university in their campus busses or by walking. The campus is toooooooo big (i understand it is over 8000+ acres) and understand has many many different research programs and schools. We... More

We absolutely loved Stanford and it is my son's dream choice for college. Absolutely beautiful sprawling campus with gorgeous architecture and amazing history. Loved the good cart tour!

I decided not to take a guided tour but walked around the campus at my leisure. The view from Hoover Tower, where you can see a 360 of the entire campus is definitely worth the $3 entry fee.

I had a week to spend here while my husband took classes and never got bored! There are so many amazing museums and art displays inside and outside with several docent led tours available for free. Highly recommend attending these but just plan your week out ahead of time because they are only offered certain days and some have to... More

According to lore, Harvard rejected an offer of Leland Stanford to construct a building on their campus and name it in honor of their son. Returning to Palo Alto, Stanford purchased a huge tract of land and paid for the construction of the entire university. We visit every year or so. From our experience, be sure to include a visit... The campus and buildings are definitely worth seeing! There are lovely grounds for a picnic or throwing a frisbee.
