We took our son on the walking tour. What an amazing place! The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Who wouldn't want to go here for college? The only down side is it's nearly impossible to get accepted to attend school here. Palo Alto is a wonderful town to spend time in as well.

Stanford just keeps getting better! Dropped a cousin off for debate camp and recalled working at Stanford Food Services. Used to do library research here. There are SO MANY FASCINATING PEOPLE, and the atmosphere of the place is always special. Of course lots of tired undergrads and overworked grad students abound, but it really is a special place. I tried... More

This campus is gorgeous! However, it is so huge it is hard to see it all in one visit. My son lives locally and he enjoys riding his bike around the beautiful campus. We planned to do the walking tour, but it was very crowded and the student guide was mostly talking about herself and her experiences at Stanford. We... More

Absolutely beautiful campus. Great outdoor spaces, wonderful architecture, fun student-body. Lots of construction--looking forward to the results. A must-see campus!

We dropped our son off for a summer program at Stanford -- the campus is gorgeous and Palo Alto is a sweet town. Wish I could have gone to school here!

We borrowed bikes to ride around Stanford. The buildings are truly beautiful and combined with the weather and the location, i felt jealous that my university experience was sub-standard compared to this.

Managed to find the visitor centre and parking eventually. Help good when we found them. Lots of cafés plus retail opportunities. Whole campus rather overwhelming and a bit like Disneyland! The whole American dream if you can afford it.

We were in the bay area showing my nephew some of the educational options that are going to soon be open to him. I hadn't been to Stanford in a while, but I loved seeing it again. Admire the Rodin sculptures, visit the church, walk around the quad, and stop for a bite at The Coffee House. If you need... More

It was a whole day trip. I enjoy the campus a lot. Its really green and clean. The library is huge and engineering building is just what I needed :) The most cool thing is the entrance.

Stanford has an incredible and unique campus. Even with the drought, it offered a beautiful stroll since the architecture and sculptures are so intriguing. I recommend that anyone in the area take an hour to roam the grounds. There are multiple visitor parking ramps. You may also park free for 20 minutes by the Rodin Sculpture Garden. Otherwise, it costs... More
