The campus itself is like a big park. There are a couple of big parking lots where you can leave your car and go "hiking" through the campus. I was here on graduation day and it was awesome with all the students there. The library is in the center of the campus - you should definitely drop by there, as... More

If you are in the area and have the time to walk the Stanford University campus, you won't be disappointed. This University campus is filled with beautiful examples of the most stunning architecture and landscaping. Parking is a little challenging but we circled around the parking lot for visitors for about 20 minutes and eventually found a great spot. It... More

We enjoyed our tour of the Stanford University. We look the student tour from the information center and it last a little over an hour. Our guide was very well informed and articulate and spent a great deal of time explaining the Stanford history. I really enjoyed the catheral/church they have setup - amazing architecture. Worth a visit if you're... More

The largest campus in the US (you can take the free shuttle if you wish, but walking remains best), with both the traditional red clay roofs above sandstone buildings as well as modern architecture, For visitors, Stanford is beautiful and a far cry from the Ivy towers of the northeast. Highlights include Palm Drive to the non-denominational church, Cantor Art... More

Fascinating place to visit, lots to see from the mural painted walls and arched courtyards, expansive grounds and sculptures. We were there only a short time so used it to go up the tower to get a better view of the campus and surrounding area. Parking is a problem, and they are strict so you wont get away with being... My nephew attends Stanford so we got quite the tour! What a pretty campus, wonderful scenery and the campus store is huge! Just looking at the architecture was a treat for us as we generally don't see this style on the east coast. It's a well laid out campus, lots of information was available to us as tourists. I'm not... More

Beautiful campus and high quality buildings. Free shuttle bus service is way to get around. campus not easy to drive around as many streets have places where only the buses can get through.

stanford is in the heart of SV and has many connections with the valley which are particularly valuable to students and faculty who work in hi tech businesses What i don't like is the forever construction that is going on. the school is beginning to look like a mid west school ...sprawling all over the place.

I colleague and I toured the Stanford campus. We also visited the book store. Some of the buildings are beautiful. We took plenty of pictures.
