The museums are worth a visit. The outdoor sculpture garden of many Rodin sculptures was a must see. Parking may be a problem, though.

A visit to Stanford is highly recommended if you are visiting nearby San Francisco. The Hoover Tower was worth seeing for a nominal fee. Palo Alto is a vibrant college town with great restauants.

It is very pleasant to walk around on the Stanford Campus and get the feeling of this world-class university. The museum is worth visiting and there is an excellent view from Hoover Tower. The campus has several pay parking lots for visitors.

They're always doing something new with additional wings of the architecture. And then the older architecture and the sculpture and art gardens are just great. One of the best hospitals on earth for almost-impossible cases is there, because they simply are committed to treatment way above and beyond the easy-way-out method of most HMOs, county hospitals and insurance-company-driven nothingness. I was accepted in my Master's program in Stanford back in 1998. However, I chose to continue my Masters in UT Austin. I don't regret that but I always to wished to visit the campus. I had the opportunity to take a codeology course (Islamic) last year (2013) and visited the campus. I loved it. The structure of campus, building... More

Great experience to stroll around the buildings. You can feel the nigiri but even more the art and science the whole place evokes!

The Thanksgiving meal on campus, was really good for college food. The catholic service in the chapel was inspiring, the chapel is beautiful inside and out. The campus overall is spread out so having a car was nice and ample parking during the break.

We visited the Cantor Museum on campus and passed a very nice afternoon looking at the Rodins, learning about the Stanford family and enjoying a fine lunch at their cafe. The grounds at the university are lovely and peaceful.

Enjoyed visiting Stanford's campus, the buildings are all beautiful and the grounds immaculate. the Law school building was my favorite as well as the stadium. it would be nice if they had a way to let visitors drive and park on campus.
