The Thanksgiving meal on campus, was really good for college food. The catholic service in the chapel was inspiring, the chapel is beautiful inside and out. The campus overall is spread out so having a car was nice and ample parking during the break.

We visited the Cantor Museum on campus and passed a very nice afternoon looking at the Rodins, learning about the Stanford family and enjoying a fine lunch at their cafe. The grounds at the university are lovely and peaceful.

Enjoyed visiting Stanford's campus, the buildings are all beautiful and the grounds immaculate. the Law school building was my favorite as well as the stadium. it would be nice if they had a way to let visitors drive and park on campus.

Lovely college campus, which is quite sprawling. Plan on walking as parking there can be difficult. Do check out the campus church to see the mosaics, which are quite spectacular. And make dinner reservations way in advance for Palo Alto.

The campus is beautiful and there are plenty of areas open to visitors. Stop at the visitor center first and pick up a self-guided tour map - it provides a suggested walking route through the campus and provides information on over 30 points of interest. Definitely go up into the Hoover tower - the views are amazing and the rooms... More

Definitely worth a visit...whether you're an aspiring applicant, parent of an aspiring student, returning alum or just a visitor. Memorial Church (all in mosaic) is open during the day, and features stunning mosaics and stained glass windows (check out the memorial placard to the left of the front door.....Leland Stanford's name is bigger than God's). The aboretum is great for... More

What an exiting area. The campus has a lovely outdoor art museum. The Sports Facilities are great. The Stanford Mall has nice stores and there are Restaurants both at the Mall and across the street on El Camino Real.

Stanford University has it all. A world class institution on a beautiful campus in the middle of the Silicon Valley where students often go from campus to start-up creating billions of dollars in jobs and new products along the way. Visitors are welcome to tour the large campus which is best seen by bike (available for rent at the campus... More

Well, Stanford is Stanford... their device should be "money is no problem". Interesting to compare with Berkeley, which is a governmental/state funded university with lots of history and quite another kind of atmosphere. However, Stanford has its brand and great things are indeed done there. As a campus the environment is enjoyable for everyone walking around the main buildings.

The Stadium is rich in history, and every seat provides a fabulous view of the field. Stanford U. Football is wonderful, and the games are always so exciting. You will have a great time. YOU MUST ATTEND!
