They're always doing something new with additional wings of the architecture. And then the older architecture and the sculpture and art gardens are just great. One of the best hospitals on earth for almost-impossible cases is there, because they simply are committed to treatment way above and beyond the easy-way-out method of most HMOs, county hospitals and insurance-company-driven nothingness. I was accepted in my Master's program in Stanford back in 1998. However, I chose to continue my Masters in UT Austin. I don't regret that but I always to wished to visit the campus. I had the opportunity to take a codeology course (Islamic) last year (2013) and visited the campus. I loved it. The structure of campus, building... More

Great experience to stroll around the buildings. You can feel the nigiri but even more the art and science the whole place evokes!

Nice place for a walk. Birthplace of the Internet plaque was my main purpose for visiting. There are for sure more sights for another visit...

The Thanksgiving meal on campus, was really good for college food. The catholic service in the chapel was inspiring, the chapel is beautiful inside and out. The campus overall is spread out so having a car was nice and ample parking during the break.

We visited the Cantor Museum on campus and passed a very nice afternoon looking at the Rodins, learning about the Stanford family and enjoying a fine lunch at their cafe. The grounds at the university are lovely and peaceful.

Enjoyed visiting Stanford's campus, the buildings are all beautiful and the grounds immaculate. the Law school building was my favorite as well as the stadium. it would be nice if they had a way to let visitors drive and park on campus.

Lovely college campus, which is quite sprawling. Plan on walking as parking there can be difficult. Do check out the campus church to see the mosaics, which are quite spectacular. And make dinner reservations way in advance for Palo Alto.

The campus is beautiful and there are plenty of areas open to visitors. Stop at the visitor center first and pick up a self-guided tour map - it provides a suggested walking route through the campus and provides information on over 30 points of interest. Definitely go up into the Hoover tower - the views are amazing and the rooms... More

Definitely worth a visit...whether you're an aspiring applicant, parent of an aspiring student, returning alum or just a visitor. Memorial Church (all in mosaic) is open during the day, and features stunning mosaics and stained glass windows (check out the memorial placard to the left of the front door.....Leland Stanford's name is bigger than God's). The aboretum is great for... More
