The Stanford Quad is one of the most beautiful buildings on the Stanford Campus. As you drive up Palm drive and look at the mosaic of gold leaf on the church , it is a spectacular site to see.

I suggest that you enter the campus on Palm Drive from El Camino Real. Go all the way up to the eclipse and park. From there you can walk to the chapel (don't miss that) and throughout the Memorial Quad. Then go to the Hoover Tower and take the elevator to the top for a great view of the campus.

Stanford is a small city, sprawling across the land adjoining Palo Alto and the rolling foothills, housing significant Silicon Valley businesses in its Industrial Park, serving high society with its Shopping Centre, and supplying state of the art medical services through its extensive hospitals, clinics and research labs. The heart of the campus still has the beauty conceived by its... More

Aside from the parking fees, this is a great place to visit. Don't miss the Cantor Arts Center, Stanford Memorial Church, Bing Concert Hall and the bookstore. There are also lovely art installations at various places around campus, beautiful architecture and it's just a fun place to people watch. There are often outdoor athletic events as well. If you're visiting... More

I had a few hours to spare before my business meeting so I drove to Stanford University. I parked in the visitor section )parking meters $) and started walking. The buildings are well marked and there are maps through out the campus to help you. I would recommend the Hoover tower, Cathedral and the student union/book store as must sees.... More

We were there at around 8am, and the portals of the university is truly beautiful. We went straight to their Catholic church, wherein you have to ask permission if you can go in. Lucky, the he let us in, but he followed us and its just for a minute. Its very solemn. The history of Stanford is very very interesting... More

We drove in this famous University on a sunny morning, a pretty convenient parking área, then we walked through a huge Green grass field where you could see students sitting and lying with freely. All buildings we walked through were beautiful, I love this Californian studying atmosphere in this good weather, at least students are not wrapped up by big... More

We went as a family to view the university and attended their free University tour. Our guide was really sweet. I love the University, very clean and buildings were beautiful. I'm sure the education and school there are the best too!!
