The campus is just beautiful and magnificent as is portrayed in many movies. There are lush manicured lawns sprawling out to the entrance. The chapel in the university is a lovely and serene place to visit. It does not matter if you are a student or not, this place is a must-do if you are in Palo Alto.

My husband and I lived a mile from Stanford campus for years and never took a tour until this year. It is really interesting to hear about the history of the campus and the school. Definitely worth a visit!

We were visiting family locally and they suggested looking at the Stanford campus. Despite a WTA tournament taking place the campus was relaxing and not too busy. We visited the information centre and joined a walking tour led (backwards) by a very enthusiastic student . He gave an informative tour of the campus sharing its history , quirks and a... More

We visited on a Sunny Friday morning in September. The campus was even more beautiful than we remembered it from a visit 30 years ago. We walked throughout the campus admiring the vegetation, magnificent architecture and columned walkways. We also visited the very beautiful non-denominational church in the main quad, as well as various campus buildings including the bookstore and... More

Amazing trip in a regular sunny California afternoon. It is NCAA football game day, so most people are in stadium, and very few in school. Very beautiful historical architecture.

Beautiful campus with an almost park like appearance. Open access for walking, biking, or vehicle touring. Lots of areas to sit, have lunch, and reflect. You don't have to be a student to enjoy the scenery.

It was an amazing trip on a slightly chilly morning in January. It's a sprawling campus and with a lot of history. The layout is quite different to MIT and other universities. It was not till the mid 1900s that Stanford started making a name for itself. Entrepreneurs have been and are still supported by this university and that is... More
