My friend and I had a wonderful round of golf here -- from the great course conditions and friendly staff. The views are breathtaking, including the fountains and lake. It was a little windy (hence the windmills in the Palm Springs hills.) We will make this part of our golf circuit in the desert.

We have been golfing this premise since the course was re-opened some five years past. The management and staff are very courteous and welcome you back with a smile and most important of all, you are remembered from past golf dates. There is a membership card that is available and it does pay dividends. The course is excellent.

Very inconsistent food, and we have been there several times. We are not going back because everything we order either comes out wrong or is the incorrect order. Usually golf clubs as upscale as this have good food. They even have decent music on some nights. I can not recommend you eat here. Drinks and wine are fine.

Enjoyable lunch out on the terrace. One with us commented that when he worked through school at good restaurants they were taught to wait until all diners had completed their meal to pick up plates. Ones left enjoying their meal feel rushed uncomfortable as do those who have had their plates snatched from under their nose. At times the server... More

Escena has the best view in town. From there, it goes rapidly downhill. The service and food are terrible, management is not present and refuses to return phone calls. STAY AWAY!!!

Great food, drinks topped by incredible views! It was only 109 degrees out so we ate inside but next time I'm going to brave the heat and eat on the patio. It was just so pretty! Service was excellent, too. Can't wait to go back.

Had I known the course had just been SCALPED (And were still scalping during our round?) I would have played somewhere else... That being said, I enjoyed the layout and look forward to returning in winter! PROS - Greens were still pretty good (especially for late summer). Tees were OK and not scalped. Lots of water and bunkered well! Staff... More

Atmosphere & location are all, and the restaurant at Escena is the ideal desert location, with the most sweeping view of those majestic mountains. The brunch is fine, if you can get in (do NOT go on Mother's Day!), with decent food (and a lot of it), and usually indifferent-to-average service, especially when they're busy. A bit pricey, but worth... More

Got a very good rate on Monday 8th September 2014 after a flash flood closed our intended course, PGA West. Course was let down by some patchy and bare fairways. Not up to the standard of other in the area. Bar closed at 15:00 meaning half of our party were unable to have a refreshment after their round. Poor service... More
