Got a very good rate on Monday 8th September 2014 after a flash flood closed our intended course, PGA West. Course was let down by some patchy and bare fairways. Not up to the standard of other in the area. Bar closed at 15:00 meaning half of our party were unable to have a refreshment after their round. Poor service... More

Great course even though it was 95 degrees. Pro shop only open until 11:30am in the summer, but opens at 6am. Play early to avoid the heat (& get good price $25 through standbygolf.com). Course is in excellent shape. Will play again if I can get good rate.

My wife has just recently taken up golf lessons and I haven't played since college (1994). We played Escena this past Tuesday and had a great time. No stress from following groups due to off-season. Loved the wide fairways. I can't agree with previous poster's statement regarding price. We got two green fees, two bags of rental clubs, and a... More

This is one of the best places to have brunch in the valley. Great views of the mountains and also watching planes land and take off at Palm Springs airport.

This course is in really great condition. Played here 2 days in a row last week. Huge thank you to the pro shop staff for opening up the shop and allowing me to go out the second day a few minutes after the last tee time for the day and for being there waiting when I finished 18. Too cool.... More

We went here for lunch and loved it. Great food and the ambience was fantastic: great to soak in the Palm Springs atmosphere and signature feel. Worth a visit!

This was excellent for brunch and lunch. We had fresh baked muffins which came as a surprise, and brunch is ordered from a menu, omelets are 3 eggs and all food was delicious. We went back another day and ate lunch, fresh made potato chips and dip. was brought to us after we ordered. WE would go back for the... More

The course was a bit more challenging (but still on the resort-like easy side with largely flat greens). The biggest beefs are the scenery isn't as nice (Escena is pretty empty as developments go) and the place is a shade desert... not a lot of places to escape the hot sun even near the tee boxes or on the greens.
