old fashioned 3 screen theater, only cinema showing Birdman, typical pricing of tickets and concessions, ok but for the same money I much prefer the modern cinemas with high back reclining seating,

Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley are blessed with some excellent, state-of-the-art venues for independent and foreign-language film, but few theaters excel the Camelot for sheer moviegoing pleasure. Along with the Annenberg Auditorium at the Palm Springs Art Museum and the auditorium at Palm Springs High School, it's one of the three best places to see films at the annual... More

It is a terrific venue for thoughtful, less well-known films that rarely make the more commercial theaters. Known for the diversity of films they show, it also has a lovely restaurant upstairs and it's OK to take food and drinks into the theaters, too.

Nice little theater in a residential part of Palm Springs. Easy parking. Great for "art" films. The theater was a little warm, so I was sorry I wasn't wearing shorts.

Camelot's small theatres are really nice. They usually show little known movies and there is hardly ever a crowd. But you might want to bring a sweater (even in the heat of the desert). They keep the temperature a little chilly.

If you like Foreign and small distributed films, this is the Theatre that brings them in. Convenient, great program offerings and best concessions/cafe!

I would patronize this theater, butvdo not like the idea of my dollars going to extreme right candidates like Boehner and Bachman. Owner's response (I'm just a simple country gal) was b.s. sHe is a successful business woman with a small media empire, and she profits from all of her charitable deeds. Prices are high.

Camelot theater is the best. They often have unique movies and events which other theaters do not. It also has a bar so you can have cocktails with your movie. Very popular with Palm Springs Locals.

Yes, this place is very adult oriented. Thoughtful movies, shorts, special events. Go early to visit the upstairs bar and restaurant. Servers are friendly and remember you. You can bring your cocktail or wine into the theatre. Lots of parking. This is a gem.
