This tour gave us the background on why celebrities used to congregate in Palm Springs. The tour bus was quite comfortable. The tour covered lots of ground. We saw lots of homes that used to (and some that still do) belong to celebrities. Also, learned a lot about date palms and why they are in the area and had a... More

Driver was great. He was informative about Palm Springs and the culture of the area. He talked about the neighborhoods and info on the stars. The stop for a "date shake" was really fun. It was delicious. The dates they sold there were very fresh and different from the usual. Well worth the time

If you want to really get in to the retro vibe of Palm Springs do the Celebrity tour. Thought at first it might be cheesy but was totally wrong. The tour leader Ann was a pro, knew her stuff and gave us such a succint history of the early days of Palm Springs and the celebrities who flocked there. We... More

Just get on a big, comfortable, Air conditioned bus with a very informed, and funny bus driver and sit back and go back to a time of glamour, great actors and good movies, and see how they lived and who they hung out with. Of course, you will see where some current actors live now as well. But just peeking... More

My husband and I took this tour and found it very informative. We were driven to many areas in Palm Springs and the homes were beautiful. Our guide has been doing this tour for many years and gives a super running commentary the whole way, open to all questions. It was very interesting to find out how many Hollywood stars... More

A nice way to spend a relaxing 2.5 hours, discovering the lives of the rich and famous, Hollywood living at its best! Very informative and interesting, however all the homes seemed to blend in with each other. Didn't know whose home was whose lol since we didn't go in, up or out, other than Cary Grant's home. Price could drop,... More

Went today on a great tour of Old Palm Springs that included the sights of many beautiful homes of the Hollywood set - both past and present. It was a very informative and interesting tour by a local who knew her way around the town and gave us a good overview of the golden era of Palm Springs. We sat... More

We took our 75 year old mother and 15 year old son on this tour. Our mother loved it but our son not so much. Most of the stars they talk about are stars of the past and did not mean anything to our son. They did give you an excellent history of Palm Springs which teenagers and older would... More

Ann is the gal in the know about all the celebrities especially Frank Sinatra. She gives a great tour and makes every effort to accommodate any requests. Toured the movie colony and las Palmas neighborhoods in addition to Frank's compound. The break includes a delicious date shake.

Loved this entertaining 3.5 hour tour. Not only did we see the doors and mail boxes but we learned about the geology, weather, windmills and water , plants and animals of the low and high desert life.
