Great Date Shakes, but why Does the Store Have So Many Imported Products?

I'll start by saying Hadley's date shakes are the best! We have to stop there at least once when we're in the area. It's hasn't been remodeled in forever, but that's another thing... read more

We stopped here for a sandwich on our way into town. The woman behind the counter forgot to place our order, so 20 minutes later she came to our table to ask for it again. When our sandwich arrived, the bread was in pieces, the tuna salad was dripping with mayo, and none of it seemed fresh. Hadley's famous market... More

My Mother loved Dates and whenever we were within driving distance to Hadley's even if it meant going a bit out of our way we always stopped had a delicious date shake, purchased fresh nuts and she always got her holiday baking ingredients here. Currants, fruits, nuts and especially all types of wonderful dates. Don't miss the opportunity. A must... More

Hadleys has been in that location for over 40 years, long before the eyesore casino, pre-dating the nightmare outlets and fitting in nicely with the dinos. The old fruit stand and wine tasting room was plywood shack and slowly evolved. They have a lot of dried fruit and nut varieties, but their prices have become non-competitive with such outlets as... Hadley's is really something special. In a world where everything brand new is valued, it is unusual that a place that's been around so long is still appreciated. They're definitely doing something right. They sell endless types of dried fruits, nuts, jams, butters, etc. Their dates are fantastic. I have been going since I was a baby, and my dad... More

I remember when Hadley's was the only thing out here...in the middle of nowhere. Yes, there was a time before casinos and outlet mall's. This is a great place if you love fruit and nuts. They sell a great selection of gift items and you can also get yourself a date shake.

I'll start by saying Hadley's date shakes are the best! We have to stop there at least once when we're in the area. It's hasn't been remodeled in forever, but that's another thing I like. Change is overrated! I love wandering down the aisles in the store area, looking at all the different dried fruits, nuts, and snacks they sell,... More

So glad Hadley's still there...think one of the ladies said been there since the early 1930's. Great shopping for dates & other dried products, even some fresh veggies there.. Had to try their date shakes that we remembered from years ago. Tasty with bits if dates in them...yummy. Saw them making sandwiches & they looked very tasty with nice bread.... More

Sure Hadley sells every nut, trail mix and dried fruit known to man, but the real draw is the made to order shakes. The date shake is the best!

When you are at a loss as to what to bring, stop in at Hadley's. Their products are great-tasting, and nutritious. Since many of their products are to be eaten, they will not need dusting, storing, or displaying. They will be devoured and your gifts will be well-received. They also have a wide selection of unique items that will add to... More

Stopped off here on our way to Palm Springs, interesting to say the least...over heard people talking about the DATE SHAKE....not my cup of tea. Wife and I spent an hour or so looking at the fruit, nuts, and other bits. Elvis stands behind the bar area. This place looks like it belongs in the past, but well done to... More
