When driving past, the date shakes are what you MUST stop for. The added bonus is all of the selections in the shop....dried fruits, nuts, candies, specialty jams......food gift ideas galore! They also ship items if you don't want to carry them with you. (I've never shipped, as always purchase & then send from home, so can't comment on that... More

Charming country store next to outlet mall and Morango Casino where everything built up around it . Great dat shakes and nuts and chilly apricots. Lots to buy and browse. If native Californian, buy a bunch dried fruit and nuts and sent to friends and family back east or Canada. Right off 10 Freeway, if going or coming thru PalmSprings... More

This place is not located in Palm Springs...it is located in Cabazon 20 miles to the west. The store is a fun place to visit...lots of dried fruits, nuts, and different and unusual food offerings. One can easily spends 30 minutes or more perusing all the items.

My family has been going here since I was a little girl and I am older than 5 decades now!. It is a wonderful place to get dried fruits, and honey sticks, rock candy, honey comb covered by chocolate! The date shakes are not for me, but my friends really like them, so I can't say personally, but but They... More

If it's nuts or dried fruits or vegetables , they have it. Giant selection of jellies, and not just the fruit jellies. They also have onion or pepper jellies. Very friendly staff. Also, chocolate covered items.

The market is a little pricey, but the free samples are good. Go for the banana date shake..it's delicious.. Lots of celebrity pictures on the walls..they've all visited. Very neat place. Definitely worth a stop.

Creamy, delicious, really sweet! The date shakes live up to their hype. My sandwich was super fresh and tasty. The rye bread had massive amounts of seeds and was chewy and flavorful. It was fun to shop for snacks in the store, too. EZ on and off the freeway. We'll be back!

A bit out of the way but great to bring home gifts for friends and co-workers. A great selection of fruits, nuts, breads and other gift items.

they definitely have a great selection of dried fruits, nuts, and other such items. I found the prices quite a bit higher than I am used to for most of the items. the date shake wasn't terrible but we didn't like it enough to actually drink it. the hot dog was good... so, all in all not a bad stop... Whenever passing through or near, we try to make a stop here. First, we got 3 date shakes and 1 banana date shake and some sandwiches. Then we sampled a couple of types of dates, nuts, dried fruit, wasabi peas. We took home some of the above along with date paste (it includes a recipe for home date shakes). Highly... More
