Have seen movies, plays and interviews. Thank you Annenbergs for your gift to the desert. Great sound, great sight lines.
This movie on the hour and half hour is very well done. Good sound and covers a huge amount in about 20 minutes. Comfortable little theatre.
The space itself is very nice, not too big and not too small so you can really see the performer. The problem I had is with the seats. They must be in a conspiracy with the airlines. I am a small person (5' 6" and 140lbs) so this is not an obese problem. The problem is long, long rows with... More
This play was very cleverly done. The four actors did a great job of playing numerous roles with different costume changes, accents, etc. We sat in the "cheap seats", which are the back two rows of the theater, but still saw and heard everything well. It's not necessary to be familiar with Hitchcock's work to enjoy this play, but if... More
Parking is a little limited for a big event but there is street parking as well. The museum is a not to be missed attraction in Palm Springs and the theater is located on the first floor. I like the size of the room because you can see pretty well from anywhere. Try to attend an event as they offer... More
This is a great theatre to visit whether you live in Palm Springs or are a tourist. It's small and personal, there are no bad seats, lots of leg room and comfortable seats. The shows change often and are always interesting.
As Seasonal Residents of the Palm Springs area...we are always looking for interesting, and fun things to do. The Annenberg Theater is a gorgeous theater... Small n Intimate, and very comfortable. We just saw The Andrews Brothers.... Wonderful and very entertaining! Great music and some very talented performers. We'll be back soon for, "39 Steps" . Definitely plan to visit... More
The Annenberg Theatre is located in the Palm Springs Art Museum. It seats about 450 people and is a nice size theatre that gives you a feeling of interaction with the performers. However, during matinee shows, parking is limited and you may not be able to park in the museum/theatre lot so you may need to park further away and... More
The Annenberg is located on the lower level of the Palm Springs Museum. I've seen a number of performances at this venue and all have been truly wonderful. Check it out !
The vast majority of the reviews for the Annenberg Theatre in the Palm Springs Art Museum point to the beauty of the theatre and the quality of Coyote StageWorks' productions - Suds, Boeing Boeing, etc. I wrote about being blown away by the quality of their first completely free Play Date last year - Lawrence Luckinbill performing his one-man play...
