Played the Legends course. Very well kept up and not difficult. Traps protect the greens and very little water. Good for beginners. They have a LOT of players so be prepared for crowds. There are the Legends and Resort courses. Both are 18 holes and have multiple tee boxes. They should have mirrors for the 1st and 10th tees as... More

We found a great deal for golf during our two week stay in Palm Desert. Tahquitz Creek has a package which included 18 holes of golf, cart, club rental and two free drinks afterward. Thus package was offered after 1 pm. The place was crowded, but we teed off on time the play was a little slow, and we just... More

We played two nine hole rounds both on the Legends course. The first was in the afternoon and we were paired with a charming couple. The second was an early morning round and included breakfast! Although the food is just good, the morning was beautiful, we were not rushed at all and had an enjoyable lovely round of golf at... More

Tahquitz Creek has two courses. The Legend and the Resort. I played the Resort and it is beautiful. Lots of water and sand, wide open and a joy to play. The buffet was tasty. Nothing really special. Ribs, chicken, salad. Can't remember the cost except it wasn't a lot. They do serve alcohol. Restrooms new, updated and clean.

Tahquitz Creek golf course is a municipal course but don't let that dissuade you from playing it. The Resort course is a great layout and should not be missed when you're in the Palm Springs area. The greens are some of the best around, the course is scenic and challenging, and you'll meet some of the nicest people. I've played... More

Where else can you golf on lush fairways surrounded by snow-capped mountains? We paid about $150 for a round for 2 including breakfast, lunch, cart, and Callaway club rentals. We are better-than-average golfers (in the low 90s) and although we didn't have any pars, we had lots of bogies, and enjoyed the company of another twosome. Food was not great... More

We had a reduced price offer that was given to us by the hotel where we were staying. It included golf, club rentals, cart and two drinks each. A good deal. The course was busy and we had to wait about 15 mins after our scheduled tee time. Not a problem as everyone moved along at a steady pace. I... More

we spend 2 months a year in Palm Springs and rent a condo on the Legends course. We can play many other courses for a much better price. The value is not there for the price they charge if you aren't a local. We will not play 5 hour rounds and pay 79.00 to do it. There are a lot... More

We brought a coupon entitling us to golf 18 holes at a discount. At the pro shop the assistant pro, Steve, told us that it applied to residents only. We responded that the residency qualification was not clear to us on the coupon. It was headlined SENIORS 60+. So we paid the $55 and did not get the discount. After... More

Hello Teacher Traveler, The Coupon you are referring to is an advertisement in The Desert Sun a local paper that we use to target our local market. The ad says Coachella Valley Residents at the top of the ad. You were accommodated with our Non Resident Senior rate and Steve did explain to you that the ad was for residents... More

A country club level course at muni rates, this is easily the best golf value in the Valley. Always in decent shape, the fairways welcome the double digit handicapper with large, contoured fairways and true, accessible greens. HOWEVER -- BRING WATER AND LOTS OF IT. Arnold Palmer management is notorious for it's disdain of amenities, and this is no different.... More
