Goes across the valley, many strip malls and major malls, historic sites. Not all jammed up with cars, and plenty to do and eat.
Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe etc all drove down palm canyons drive...so it's a must do. Beautiful mountain vistas. Simple shops to browse and coffee available. Loved the street art especially the Marilyn Monroe sculpture but I hear it has left.
We enjoy the choice of restaurants that line Palm Canyon Drive. There is something for everyone. Palm Springs is an interesting place to visit.
Typical tourist trap shops. It was fun to walk along for exercise and look in the stores, especially to walk off a meal. Several good restaurants along Palm Canyon Dr.

A great place to spend the evening. Lots of happy hour restaurants and nice little shops. People just stroll and chat, it is lovely. There are lots of little (expensive) shops to wonder in and out of.
Start at Alejo and walk south and you will be entertained with a wide variety of shopping and dining choices. Yes, it is touristy but the mix is mid-century vintage and modern, art gallery eclectic, funky, resort-style women's clothing shops and dining choices galore. Good exercise, people watching and retail therapy.
