Delightful Drive

Driving down Palm Canyon Dr you can feel the history, the yesteryears. You see the quaint little hotels that have been there forever. It is a lovely way to spend a few hours.

Shopping is great. A new shopping center is being built on Palm Canyon Drive. Lots of excellent restaurants. We found the locals friendly as well as people visiting from all over the world. It is almost has a village feel to the street and surrounding neighborhoods.

Having gone to Palm Springs for many years it is heartbreaking to see the demise of "class". The downtown area is rife with shops selling the usual tee shirts and Chinese made import trinkets. Gone are the days of exclusive shopping, they have all moved to ElPaseo .

Great place to be a tourist here. Nice (touristy) shops, plenty of great restaurants, beautiful views of the mountains. Worth a trip.

everything , the shopping is amazing, so may boutiques, and quite reasonable prices, lots of restaurants and parking. Palm Trees are beautifully manicured, lots of flowers and plenty of benches for weary shoppers to rest. Fountains are beautiful and shop keepers are all very nice and welcoming.

There is just so much to do and so much to see on Palm Canyon. We love walking down the street and stopping in all the shops that catch our eye. Also, some of our favorite restaurants are on Palm Canyon including Blue Coyote and Azul. Every year we come back for more!

We were in Palm Springs on Feb 9th, 2015. The weather was excellent , 89F, clear blue sky. Had lunch at Lulus on the drive. Great street to eat outdoors, facing beautiful mountains and palm trees in the background. If you come visit for a few days, stay in one of the resorts in the area.

Love Palm Canyon Drive with all the quaint shops, great restaurants & live music. Especially fun at night when the lights are all lit, eating outside in the winter (amazing concept when thinking of the weather most places), people watching & listening to great live music. Highly recommend!!
