I haven't been to Palm Springs in about 30 years so we thought we would stop by on our way back from LA. The roads are under construction and they are finally building new areas to visit but it seems to have just gotten 30 years older, not better. If you want heat and desert Scottsdale is a much better... More

The walk of stars is the most wonderful part of this street not withstanding the many restaurants, stores and entertainment available. It was a pleasure to just walk and look at all of the plaques on the sidewalk and remember the Hollywood stars and people important to Palm Springs.

This is where all the shops are and over half the restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream and yogurt stores etc. are in Palm Springs. It is really a neat walking area with several plazas running off of it. There is street parking as well as several public parking garages.

the drive is fantastic with so much to see and enjoy. The Palm trees on both side of the street give a vacation feeling. The downtown area looks gorgeous but the only downside for me is the traffic lights and the traffic. It's a slow drive and a lot of traffic lights. Love the feeling of this main street - fantastic mid century modern architecture an shops, really fun restaurants with outdoor seating, misters everywhere to cool and hydrate, and just a great vibe.

A great venue for restaurants and shopping. Friendly people, clean streets, lots to do during the day or night. Several bands playing at various places in the evening.
