The views are amazing. The trip up is via a revolving cable car. Just fantastic and well worth the trip.

My girlfriend and I recently went to Palm Springs and decided to take in the Tramway as we both enjoy hiking and heard there was some wonderful trails once you take the Tram to the top. First we checked at the Main Station and asked a ranger who wanted to know our expertise and then suggested a hike for us... More

Very interesting to see Palm Springs from on top of the mountain. Certainly cooler, so bring a jacket. Dinner was a bit unorganized. We purchased dinner with the ride up. They didn't kill us with information about what came with the pre-bought ticket. Some direction would have been great. The mountain and views were spectacular. Great Gift Shops, bit pricey... More

This was a wonderful experience. From the parking lot they pick you up and drive you up to the main building. We took the tram up and it was amazing views all the way. The tram rotates so as long as you are close to the glass you can just stand in that one spot and take in the views... More

We live close to all Mountain facilities surrounding Vancouver, BC so it was not very interesting for us. The locals seem to really enjoy it as it is different for them to see snow and mountain vegetation, wildlife and trees. We all found the film presentation boring and needs updating. The ride up is enjoyable and the floor turns so... More

The ride to the top is beautiful, if a bit pricey (~$25 each). The weather at the top is so much cooler than down in the Valley, too. The views from the Mountain Station are gorgeous, and the hiking looked terrific, too.

This is a must do tourist event. I am not that comfortable with heights, but felt very secure in the tram car. As you are ascending, the floor rotates providing a 360° view which is "WOW". Tram runs every 15 minutes and the guide explains what you are seeing. Ride up is about 10 minutes. At the top are walking... More

I'm a CA girl and rarely visited my neighbor cities. But Palm Springs during this season was just perfect. Not too cold or hot. The desert brings its own diff side of beauty. The tram way to the top to view the San Jacinto Mountains was great. Being rewarded by a 360 degree view of the mountains, the valley below... More
