This tram rise is a bargain, especially the twilight ride. Awesome experience and stunning views. Take a picnic basket and wine and enjoy!

This is a must-do while in Palm Springs. The ride is short but the views are beautiful. The cable car rotates, so irrespective of where you get a spot, you will get a 360 degree view. And when you reach the top, you can forget about the heat at the base and enjoy the cool climate and as we did,... More

We had reserved Peaks Restaurant for this visit. We had decided to prepay the Tram tickets and book the 5pm ride to the top with dinner reservations to Peak Restaurants, Do not confuse this with Ride & Dine as this only pertains to the cafeteria. Riding up at 5pm was perfect as this gave us plenty of time at the... More

This is a 80 passenger tram way which revolves 360 at it's base so when you're up on it you get a all around view from top. It's a 10 minute ride which is fun specifically when it changes the loops and I've heard people around who either exclaimed with joy or fear. It's a fun ride for 25$. There... More

If you would like a less-crowded experience at the top of the tram, during July and August the first tram goes at 8 am. My wife and I and some friends went last Friday and hiked to the top of Mount San Jacinto. The early tram gives you plenty of time for the hike without feeling rushed. A great experience!

Good one day trip spot. The tramway takes you to a outstanding height. The place is too hot during summers but not a bad spot during spring time. Fun trip for families.

A great way to cool off during a hot summer day in PS. If you like to hike and would go at least three times during your summer visit buy the summer pass for unlimited use.

If it is warm in summer it is much cooler on the mountain over 10000 feet in elevation. I would go in the afternoon with the sun behind you for a better owe of the valley. In the morning you are looking into the sun. Great hiking trails.

We did the round valley trail which was 5 miles. Pick map up at ranger station. Thoroughly enjoyed it, not too strenuous and loads to look at on the way. Wonderful!
