I don't know why I don't visit this place more often. I went for a long hike with my son and we cannot get over how beautiful it was. It smelled like my childhood. We even found snow. It is such a great contrast to the desert valley below. You would think you are in another state! The tram itself... More

The gondola rotates as it goes up the mountain giving everyone the same chance of a good view. We went up just as the sun was going down which give us spectacular sunsets and views. We also ate in the restaurant as part of the ticket deal and well worth the money.

We were in Palm Springs for a weekend getaway with the kids and decided to do this on a lark. SO GLAD WE DID! It was an amazing trip and we saw such beautiful vistas, nature, scenery...truly took our breath away. The trip up the mountain scared my kids (6 and 7) because the car spins (well, the floor inside... More

We went up on the way into PS as we passed the entrance on the way in we went up at 2pm and no queues luckily for us and got a good close car parking spot - the carriage goes round through 360 degrees as you go up so you get great views wherever you stand in the cabin. Great... More

2 in our party have a fear of heights, but took the ride anyway. They both squealed with delight and terror. On a clear day the views are amazing. As a local, we have been up here more than once. The ride never gets old. The tram is an engineering work of art. You will be at 8,500 feet and... More

A fabulous experience not to be missed, wonderful photo opportunities of the area. Remember to take something warm to wear once you are at the top, the temperature drops considerably but the air is so fresh & clean. We paid on the day as it we were told it was not too busy, this worked for us but would suggest... More

Loved that the tram rotated. The views were amazing. We had lunch at the top and the prices were a little high. Don't forget your sweaters/jackets - we forgot ours.

Get there early to avoid hoards of other trippers! Can get very busy late morning onwards. Timed tickets up the mountain so don't miss your car!

The rotating cable offered great view of the city and the mountain. We went in early May and there was no snow on top of the mountain, a little bit chilly but not too back esp after a hike. Inside the mountain station there was a bar and a cafe. The price was surprisingly reasonable. Cons.. the cable was crowded... More

My son and I went to the Aerial Tramway while I was in town visiting him. I absolutely loved the view. The temperature went from 70 degrees at the bottom to 40 degrees at the top. It was so beautiful on the way up and at the top. There were places to eat and gift shops at the top. Trails... More
