This is a 'must do' if you are visiting Palm Springs. The drive up the tram is a long one but worth it at the end. Tram takes you to the top of the mountains and you can either eat at the cafe there or take a hike further in. The actual building at the top isn't really anything special,... More

Wow, This is a must visit when you are in the low desert. Palm springs was 117 and it was in the high seventies at the top. We did the 2 mile hike and the nature was fantastic. There are volunteers that will walk with groups and explain alln the plants, tree's animals, etc.. For those outdoorpeople, you can even camp..... More

We are very fortunate to have a Tram in our town! How many people can claim that. Our trip was fun, we enjoyed the view and going on the actual ride is my favorite because of the roller coaster'ery feel! It was a good 20 degrees cooler up on the mountain so good to get away from the desert heat.... More

Fabulous! You must do this. It is an engineering feat that you have to marvel at. Exhilarating to view the city at night. Well organized, it can move 80 people up Mt San Jacinto.

When in Palm Springs, make your way to the aerial tramway, a cable car with some serious attitude. A real piece of engineering, taking you up to 8000ft in just over 15 mins. The views across Palm Springs are truly awesome, and if you have time go for a walk when you get to the top, to escape the tourist... More

Excellent ride, park at the top. Go early and stay late! Be ready to hike if you like or snowshoe in the winter! We were there on the hottest day all summer in PS (114 degrees) and it was in the low 80s up on top. Just beautiful!

Brilliant views going up and down the tramway. At the top it was like hiking through the country. Fantastic experience all the family enjoyed. The cafe at the top provided food which was not only tasty but good value as well.

Cool sunny walks in the forest, a lot cooler than the ground level. The tram has panoramic view, clearly see everything.
