easy to find off the I-111 & a lovely few hours at the summit, nice picturesque views, café & restaurant at the top, great value for money & a lot cheaper going on your own $21.95 plus $5 parking. than on a organized trip best to go late afternoon as its a lot quieter & cooler (we went at 1700)

For us there wasn't much to do in the 118+ degree Palm Springs area for the week. I remembered seeing this in a tourist magazine. After getting on their web site I noticed that it was about 30 degrees cooler so up we went to the 8K elevation. Nice & smooth ride. At the top there is both a sit... More

I've come to Palm Springs so many times and never thought to take the tramway but I'm so glad I finally gaze in. This is nothing short of spectacular. Soaring scenery for miles as you ascend and then it was startling snow at the top - wished we'd allowed longer to explore and breathe in the pine-sceneted air. Heavenly!

Was a great trip up in the tram.Even better at the top with the temp being 72 degrees as opposed to the 115-117 down in the valley. Some insane views from the top and so many hikes to do.The hikes are for everyone too.Advanced to novice. There is a restaurant at the top,but we never went to it.I would go again for... A wonderful late afternoon spent at this stunning location was just what we needed. The ride itself is a 360 degree spinning floor tram and the views are amazing. Once you are at the top, prepare to spend a few hours walking and taking in the splendid views.

We loved our visit here - if you go up in the afternoon/early evening it is cheaper and we didn't have to pay parking. The tram slowly revolves as you go up and down the mountain, providing a 360 degree view. We went up in the light and came back down in the dark - we would recommend this -... More

The tram ride and hiking on the mountain were quite fun! The tram slowly revolves as you go up and down the mountain, providing 360 degree views. Once at the top, there are wonderful viewpoints to look down at Palm Springs and the valley below and across at the edge of Joshua Tree National Park. We then spent a couple... More

Aerial Tramway is one of the the highlights and major attractions in Palm Springs, CA. Its a must to take a ride up to 8500 feet to the top where the views are spectacular, temperature much cooler than the lower level, and great place to relax. There are restaurants, snack place, and a bar while you enjoy the views from... More
