Anytime one can go from 109 degrees in Palm Springs to 71 degrees at the top for $25 -- do not walk, run to the Valley Tran Station. We got there at 2:30, got on the 2:40 tram and were ordering lunch at the top by 3:00. There are hikes of varying levels from .5 miles to 12 miles. The... More

It was brilliant, the cable car ride upto the top was quick and moved 360 degrees so you saw everything. At the top there were great views and for those that like to hike you could of that too should you wish. Nice eating area and food reasonably priced with good gift shop as well.

Spectacular is the only word I can think of. From the tram to what you find at the top, it is fabulous. Amazing views, beautiful landscapes, different climate at the top--- don't miss it. A great experience and worth every penny.

This was an awesome experience, even for someone like me who does not like heights. Taking the tram to the top of the mountain was a good experience. The tram gently turns 360 so you can see all of the view available when traveling up the mtn. No need to walk around the tram. The mtn top offered hiking trails... More

109 degrees to 70 degrees in 10 minutes! The tram on the 4th of July was a wonderful. It was a tribute to the Military so all Military rode the tram at no charge and received a small token of appreciation from the Tram staff. Our guests also received a discount. A very thoughtful suggestion! The ride up was 11... More

I'm not a hiker. My family doesn't hike. If you do, have at it. Apparently there are vast trails for you to enjoy. I'll believe you they are great. The tram ride was a fun experience (both ways). The views from the top were amazing! We first went out the back and walked down the winding path toward the trails.... More

After many years of traveling to Palm Springs, I finally decided to take the tramway up to the mountain top. Wow! What a wonderful experience! It was Feb. and very comfortably warm in P.S. But I could see the snow capped mt. top, so took a jacket just in case. It was sunny and beautiful, I had no need for... More

So happy we didn't pass this up. It was a thrilling breathtaking ride up on the trap. and such a relief to get out of the heat for a few hours. Wear some good walking shoes so you can take a hike and pack a water bottle.
