Probably been said before, but a ride with the Aerial Tram is a must do while in Palm Springs. The ride provides stunning views, both on the way up and down and at the top .You really get a good feeling for what the valley looks like and how brutal nature can be ... It’s an extra plus the tram... more

Wish there was a way to keep a fact sheet at the beginning of the review, but here's what you need to know. The trams run every 30 minutes so if you missed the last one you will wait, yes 30 minutes for the next one. The tram can hold up to 80 people, If it is busy it will... more

Wow! Fantastic views in any direction! The tram is worth the money, but there are caveats. We visited on a weekday morning in early June, so we didn't encounter parking or crowd problems. A busy weekend during the "season" might be frustrating since the parking lots are small and serviced by shuttle buses. It's all steep, and although handicapped accessible,... more

I stumbled upon this gem while just cruising around and shopping in Palm Springs. I fortunately saw a sign and followed my curiosity (and luckily, had hiking shoes in the trunk). The aerial tramway was a cool, scenic ride with lots of viewing opportunity of the valleys. The car spins slowly, so you can see everything. At the end of... more

We took this trip on the tram because of the many suggestions of others (and the fact that it was only 55 degrees up there, while it was nearly 100 down in the desert). The ride was a bit scary - as others have noted, the tram shakes a bit when it goes past the supports, but it's well worth... more

A wonderful day out, the views of the mountains and desert land as you go up the in the tram is breathtaking, The tram rotates so that you are constantly looking all around. My kids loved every minute of this fantastic trip.Take a packed lunch or picnic with you as when you get to the top there are numerous walks,... more

Everyone told me I had to "do the tram". So I did it. It was nice but a little scary going up there. The ride up is fast and the tram car shakes a little when it goes by the supports. I am not good with heights so for me it was a little nerve racking. One I got to... more

I have to say I was quite surprised at some of the negative comments from some reviewers here. So just as a reminder to those still interested in going up the tram. 1- It is in the mountains, so some walking- even uphill- my be required. 2- It may seem expensive for some, but most people know the price before... more

Personally I love the aerial tramway and have been up it 3 times now on different visits to California but there are a few things you need to know before you go to make sure that you make the most of what isn't a cheap trip. Car Park The car park is on a steep slope and there isn't much... more
